My name is Frank, I only had a couple experiences playing D&D until January 2024 when I decided to start playing the game by becoming a DM and starting a campaign with friends. Since then I have played and DM'ed in multiple games, including one shots, in person games, and online games.

How Tank runs games
I like to run a game that the players are all enjoying, typically my sessions have some sort of mystery to solve, often combat, and plot lines to tie it all together. I encourage players to grow their characters to be what they want. I enjoy giving characters unique or powerful items, weapons, abilities to help the player develop a character they are invested in playing. I typically follow 5e rules, but will often follow the "rule of cool" or rulings from other versions of D&D if it seems like it will be fun for the party as a whole and fits the situation in game at that time.
