Hi There!! My name is Jake. I live in Country NSW in Australia! I found a love for Tabletop Games during Covid (Like a lot of people) and after watching content and writing stories and worlds and characters, I jumped into a game for the first time and havent looked back. Since then, my love has grown more and more. I have been GM-ing on and off for around 2 years now, and been playing for around 3-4 years.

After playing/watching TTRPG content, I really became passionate about writing stories, worlds and characters and felt a real want to share these with people. That was when I made the decision to really push myself to write a campaign and create a world. I am very excited to share what I have!

My favorite shows/movies are

I like to think I have a decent range of movie/tv show genres i like. My favourite films are the Lord of The RIngs Trilogy, but I really enjoy TV series a lot I favourites are Peaky Blinders, The Merlin TV Show and as an Anime fan as well, I really enjoyed Frieren, Vinland Saga & 3 Gatsu no Lion.

When I'm not running games I'm...

When I'm not running games, I'm either playing in TTRPG games or just gaming in general!! I play in a few tables as a player in multiple different systems as well as being a gamer at heart. My favourtie games tend to lead to single player RPG's but I do enjoy multiplayer survival games as well.

How Jake Buckingham runs games

I would describe my style as being heavy RP driven! I like seeing drama unfold before characters and having combat be meaningful to the story and the world we are in!! My goal is to present a world that has a lot of elements for players to grab onto and turn into a story they want! I also want to bring forward Players characters stories to make sure that everyone has their moments and feels like a part of the world they are in!

Role Play!! I really enjoy presenting themes and ideas for characters to jump on, and I really want to see how players interact with each other in charcaters, the world and environment around them. I also really enjoy presenting problems and choices for players as it can lead to a lot of great RP!!
