About Sifi

Hai Hai! I'm a passionate DM who fell in love with tabletop role-playing games thanks to my older siblings. It all started back when my brother brought home a D&D Starter Set. No one in our family wanted to take on the DM role, so I stepped up. That’s how my "forever DM" journey began! I was instantly hooked on what D&D offered me. The sometimes stressful combat, the vibrant characters, the unfolding stories, and those unforgettable moments (planned or spontaneous) that make every session special! Throughout high school, I shared my love for D&D by introducing it to my classmates. In college, I refined my DM skills, running official WOTC D&D adventure books and crafting my own campaign stories for my online friends. While I’ve only played online, I’ve gotten pretty comfortable with virtual tabletop platforms like D&D Beyond, Roll20, and Foundry VTT, though I’m always eager to learn more and improve my craft. I’m excited to bring my enthusiasm, creativity, and experience to a whole new group of faces, creating memorable adventures for players of all kinds!

I highly enjoy the original Star Wars films! Truly, some of my favorite movies, and just in general lore, as it feels so in-depth. It's easy to create stories within that universe! Behind that, I will say Phantom of the Opera had completely enraptured me with the romance and Gothic Horror elements!

When I'm not running games I'm...

I'm more than likely playing games with friends, cooking, working, or practicing my art skills! I genuinely want to get better with art, as creating visuals for characters I create for stories and campaigns would be fun!

How Sifi runs games

Hai Hai, future adventurers! When you join my games, expect a mix of high-stakes combat and deep, immersive roleplaying. I love crafting battles that get your heart racing, where teamwork and clever tactics are key to overcoming tough challenges. Nothing beats the rush of a well-fought fight! I’m also a huge fan of roleplay; it’s what brings the world and your carefully crafted characters to life, pulling you deep into the story we create together. You like puzzles? I sprinkle them in when my players are into it, adding fun challenges like riddles or traps to spice things up, though I won’t make you solve a brain-teaser while fending off vampire spawns in a crypt...unless you’re up for it! I’d say I’m an all-around GM, loving every aspect of the game, but I always tailor the experience to what my players enjoy most, ensuring everyone has a blast!

My games focus on...

I'd like to think Story, Roleplay, and Combat are my priorities! I love to see players go into long discussions due to the moral dilemmas I created. I want to make sure every action, word, and decision they make feels important and shapes how the story plays out!

When it comes to voices

Although I love them, I do not really do them. I try my best to change my tone or cadence for certain characters, but accents and voices are not my forte. I will do my best here and there for certain NPC's but overall it'll just be my voice!

Sifi's ideal table

Honestly, I am not sure. I think having a table where everyone wants to help their fellow players have a good time is ideal! I would like to run an environment where the game is always enjoyable, regardless of what's happening. I want a table that will split sides laughing at jokes, tug at each other's heartstrings, get emotional from roleplay, completely wreak havoc with anger (In-Character, of course), and create lasting memories as a group!

I love it when a player

I love it when a player thinks outside the box and stuns me. Using a feature, rule, or other plan that completely makes me stop and think, "How did I not think of that!" is one of my favorite feelings. Not only am I stumped, but the party is practically gleaming with joy at how clever they were!

min/maxing is absolutely valid and not an issue. You took the time to read the rules, and you are using them! Who am I to ruin someone's fun!
