Hello everyone, I’m Max, and I’ve been involved in tabletop RPGs since the days of AD&D. Over the years, I’ve experienced a wide range of players and systems. Currently, I primarily run games of Call of Cthulhu and Pathfinder, though I have a broad background in other games as well. Looking forward to some great games together!

In my GM style, I dive deep into the shadows of the human psyche to explore the darker corners of the soul in horror games. I relish crafting narratives that challenge players with the eerie and unsettling, pushing them to confront their deepest fears and uncertainties. The darkness isn't just a backdrop but a character in itself, weaving through the story to evoke a sense of genuine dread and suspense. I believe that true horror comes from the emotional and psychological impact of the unknown, creating a tense atmosphere where the threats are as much internal as they are external. That said, I also appreciate the balance of grit and levity. My games are infused with a layer of dark humor and twisted comedy, but always with careful consideration of what’s appropriate for the moment. This juxtaposition not only provides relief from the tension but also deepens the narrative by highlighting the absurdities of the horrific situations players find themselves in. It's about crafting a rich, immersive experience where the horror is palpable, but moments of grim wit and dark comedy offer a respite from the gloom, keeping the game engaging and dynamic. For action-oriented games, I strive to keep the tension high and the combat tactical. My approach focuses on creating intense, adrenaline-pumping encounters where every decision matters, and strategic thinking can turn the tide of battle. I aim to keep players on the edge of their seats with challenging scenarios that test their skills and decision-making abilities. In my games, I create an immersive experience by preparing atmospheric music and providing a variety of handouts.
