About Andrew
Hey there, my name is Andrew, I've been running games for over 10 years. I'm always looking for a new system to pick up or an obscure tabletop game to play. I specialize in sci-fi and dystopian settings with a sandbox style, but that doesn't mean I shy away from fantasy. There's a good chance that if you're interested in something I've got a rule set for it or a game to run it in. I'm looking forward to making new friends and weaving a narrative together that we all can enjoy.

I became a GM because
I gave GMing a try back in high school and realized I love telling stories with my players. Ever since then I've made an effort to learn new systems and continue expanding my library.
My 3 systems I'd bring to a desert island would be
Cyberpunk red- love the gunplay, setting and post launch support Lancer- Big mechs and guns, what's not to love. Pathfinder 2e- Crunchy, well made and love the flexibility the rules provide.
My favorite system of all Time is
Cyberpunk red without a doubt. Its so flexible and filled with style. The gunfights, glitz and drama gotta love every bit of it.
How Andrew runs games
I specialize in focus in sandbox style games, that allowed the player to have real tangible effects on the world around them. I generally split combat and role-play 50/50 with adjustments based on the group dynamic that I'm working with. I can match my dming style to almost any style of play. I enjoy working with my players to incorporate Homebrew or whatever else they would like in the game we're currently playing. Almost everything is on the table as long as you're being fair to me and the other players at the table.

I prep by
I write out my NPCs personalities, information about locations, things that agents acting against the group would do and overall objective and let it all respond to the player's presence. The world responds to you.
My games focus on...
Player agency and decision making. I like to split roleplay and combat 50/50 and adjust depending on what vibe the group is going for.
Rules are...
They're okay when they enhance gameplay and make things fun for everyone but can be restrictive at times. Sometimes you got to rule of cool it to keep the game going and keep things fun.

I love it when a player
Goes out of the way and engage with side activities events and characters. I like to build a living world and love it when my players engage with it.
I think it's a red flag when players...
Players that are overly antagonistic with their fellow table members. some arguments and light PVP are fine but don't go out of your way to ruin the fun for other players.
I think min/maxing...
It can be fun to an extent but if you go too hard on it and attempt to outshine your fellow players it can become a burden. Also attempting to win tabletop games is a recipe for disaster being strong is fun being top dog can be boring.
