About Capi
A lifelong lover of playing make believe and battling evil, or just cavorting around a carnival. I lead games with a variety of tones designed to meet the vibe my players enjoy, wether its a light hearted sandbox or an epic tale of armageddon.

My 3 systems I'd bring to a desert island would be
1) 5e-its a classic with endless options 2) Cats of Cthulu-the rule of no thumbs is reason enough 3) Roll for Shoes-the zaniest games I've ever played
The three words my players would use to describe me are...
- "animated, personable, whimsical" - "Creative, thoughtful, flexible!" - "Insightful, inclusive, enthusiastic"
How Capi runs games
My balance of role play and combat is typically designed to meet the table's preference. If left to my own devices I'll put together a game that's about 50/50 with plots that increase in complexity over time. The only wrong way to play is the way that means folks aren't having fun.

I once ran a session...
in which a group escaped the UnderDark by stealing a gnomish submarine (cue singing) and managing to charm an aboleth. Those kids and their natural twenties....
I prep by
Honestly, most of my prep is done right after the session when I organize my notes from what just happened and plan for what is coming next. It helps keep things responsive and flowing naturally for the players.
Rules are...
A good framework to build off of, and a shared set of agreements to help everyone have fun.
Capi's ideal table
We're all here to have fun. We're telling a story in which everyone gets to be what they imagine. Respect each others time and moments, but also show us what you got.

I love it when a player
Gets creative and comes up with something the rules don't cover. Like when I had to google the hitpoints of a mountain-that was fun.
