About Jenn
Hi, I’m Jenn! Mother of Monsters (ages 7 & 8), retired Marine, and full-time Cleric main turned full-time DM and TTRPG performer. I’ve been behind the screen for about three years now, and what started as escapism quickly became my calling. D&D opened a door for me during a time when I needed somewhere else to be, and before long, I was creating the kinds of worlds and stories I had always wished I could step into. Now, I get to build those worlds for others. My games are deeply character-driven, emotionally immersive, and rooted in the belief that storytelling should feel personal. I specialize in weaving backstories into the main narrative, creating those powerful revelation moments that shift everything. If it hurts a little (in the best way), we’re doing it right. When I’m not crafting cinematic plot twists, I’m obsessed with all things thematic, movie premieres, Ren faires, weekend getaways. If there’s an excuse to cosplay, I’m already planning it. You’ll also find me devouring sweet chili wings, binging YA fandoms, or happily covering my eye through horror movies under a fuzzy blanket. Gym rat by day, pagan witch by night. I lift weights, cast spells, and live for the vibe. D&D was once my escape. Now it’s my art, my profession, and the space where I help others find their own magic.

I became a GM because
Escapism has always played an important role in my life. When I discovered TTRPGs, it felt like stepping through a door into an entirely new world. After playing in a few games, I began imagining the kinds of worlds I wished I could adventure in. As a GM, I can now bring those world to life.
My 3 systems I'd bring to a desert island would be
D&D, because it’s the system that captured my heart; Vampires: The Masquerade, for its emotional depth and character-driven tension; and one completely new system I’ve never played because I believe there’s always another story waiting to be discovered.
The three words my players would use to describe me are...
Benevolent Trauma Mama
How Jenn runs games
I create immersive, living worlds. Expect detailed maps, distinct character voices, evocative visuals, ambient touches, and dynamic NPCs that make the world breathe around you. I want you to feel like you’ve stepped into the story... not just rolled initiative in it. At my table, safety and belonging come first. I am fiercely protective of every member of my community, including LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, femme-presenting, ESL, and disabled players. This is a space where respect is non-negotiable, boundaries are honored, and everyone deserves to feel safe being themselves. I aim for a thoughtful balance between Rule of Cool and Rules as Written. Mechanics matter, but they serve the story, not the other way around. If a cinematic moment elevates the narrative, we’ll find a way to make it work. Above all, storytelling is the heart of what I do. I prioritize collaboration, character growth, and meaningful choices. Every player at my table is important. Every voice is heard. Every character has a place in the spotlight.

My favorite trope is...
Anagnorisis. The “oh no…oh NO” moment. The revelation of a hidden truth. The realization that the villain isn’t who you thought. The discovery that your past wasn’t what you believed it to be. I live for those turning points where a character’s understanding of themselves or the world shifts forever
Rules are...
I believe rules exist to support the story, not to overshadow it. Mechanics should enhance the narrative, not limit the emotional or creative possibilities at the table.
Jenn's ideal table
My table is for players who want to feel the story, not just play through it. If you love emotionally driven narratives, layered backstories, and moments of powerful revelation, you’ll thrive here. I specialize in weaving character histories into the main plot, so the choices you make and the secrets you carry matter in meaningful ways. This is a space for collaborative storytellers. Players who: -Respect boundaries, identities, and player agency -Value party cohesion over chaos -Understand that “it’s what my character would do” isn’t an excuse to harm the group -Enjoy character growth, moral complexity, and immersive roleplay New players who want guidance and depth are absolutely welcome. Experienced players who crave cinematic, emotionally resonant arcs will feel right at home. If you’re here for anagnorisis moments, long-buried truths resurfacing, and character arcs that leave you thinking about them days later, you’re going to love these campaigns.

If you're into ___, you're going to love my table
If you want emotional damage (the fictional kind), long-buried secrets, and backstories that come back to haunt you in the best way, you’re going to love my table.
I think it's a red flag when players...
“It’s what my character would do” is not a free pass at my table. Player agency and group enjoyment matter more than disruptive character choices. We build stories together, not at each other’s expense.
My table is not the place for...
I work hard to create a safe, inclusive environment. That means respecting boundaries, identities, and player choices at all times. If that’s not something you value, this likely isn’t the table for you.
