About Justin

Hi, I’m Justin! I've worked in hospitality as a chef for over 20 years and I love providing wonderful experiences for people. I was a theatre kid in high school and have always loved roleplaying games, whether via videogames or tabletop. I absolutely love telling stories with my friends over some dice rolls and I believe that comfort is the key to any successful session. I run immersive, emotionally resonant tabletop RPG sessions where narrative depth, character choices, and a sense of atmosphere take center stage. I craft experiences with intention, warmth, and a deep love for sharing the story. Whether you’re brand new to TTRPGs or a veteran looking for a DM who brings heart, creativity, and hospitality to every session, I’d love to welcome you to the table.

I ran my first game...

The first game I ever ran was a Cyberpunk RED Campaign that I'd written myself based around a rogue AI serial killer.

My favorite books are

The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, The Wayfarer series by Becky Chambers, The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan, All things Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, The Hercule Poirot Mysteries of Agatha Christie, and the graphic novel series Saga by Brian K. Vaughn and Fiona Staples.

When I'm not running games I'm...

Running my kitchen as a professional chef, hanging out with my two orange cats (Nelson and Murdock), playing video games, or playing Magic: the Gathering!

How Justin runs games

At my tables, you’ll find: • Cinematic, character‑driven storytelling where your choices matter • Worlds with texture and flavor — from southern gothic fantasy to dystopian sci‑fi space opera and cozy‑dangerous wilderness adventures; I've done them all! • A welcoming, safe environment with clear communication and session‑zero expectations • Player‑first design that adapts to your backstories, emotional beats, and creative ideas

My games focus on...

Building living worlds and telling exciting stories with my players in ways that make them feel like residents as opposed to onlookers. Everyone at the table has the ability to shape the world and the story, not just the GM.

Rules are...

There for structure and challenge but can (and should) be bent a little if it can spark creativity and make things more fun!

When it comes to voices

I'm fairly decent. I grew up as a theatre kid and have taken many 'Accents and Dialects' classes. I'm not a professional by any means, but I have been working on my voice acting demos.

Justin's ideal table

All players are welcome at my table! If you enjoy a good story and taking part in telling it, my table is definitely for you. I love players who really get into role playing and get creative with their characters but I'm also very welcoming to those who are nervous/shy about it.

If you're into ___, you're going to love my table

Sci-Fi, mystery, creative thinking, role-playing, and voice acting!

I love it when a player

Thinks outside the box and comes up with creative ways to play their character and use their abilities to navigate the story. I also absolute love it when players really get into their character role playing.

My table is not the place for...

Hatred, bigotry, racism, homophobia, transphobia, or disrespect.
