Hi, adventurers! I'm a Dungeon Master with 3 years of experience weaving fantastical tales and leading epic adventures in Dungeons & Dragons. I’m passionate about creating dynamic fantasy worlds where your choices and creativity shape the story. While I love both fantasy and sci-fi, my background in history keeps me firmly rooted in crafting fantasy settings. I aim to make my worlds and stories flexible and responsive, ensuring the game grows organically with my players. For me, D&D is all about having fun—rules are there to guide us, but I’m always up for clever, creative ways to stretch them if it adds to the adventure (and doesn’t break the game). A little about me outside of the game: I’m a married dad to three awesome boys and a dog parent to a blind, one-eyed pup. I hold degrees in writing and history, which have fueled my passion for storytelling. I’ve also taken improv classes and performed on stage, which helps me keep games lively and unpredictable. In addition to crafting homebrewed worlds, I’m a homebrewer of beer, an avid reader, and a lover of cooking. I also spent time as a professional photographer, so I have a creative eye for detail that I bring to my campaigns. GM Style

My GM style is all about collaboration, creativity, and fun. I see Dungeons & Dragons as a shared storytelling experience where the players and GM build an epic adventure together. I create flexible worlds and narratives that respond to your choices, making every campaign unique and tailored to the group. I have a stronger focus on roleplay and storytelling than on combat. While exciting battles definitely have their place, I’m most passionate about weaving a narrative that immerses players in their characters and the world. I love diving into character backstories, using them as the foundation for the story to ensure your character’s journey feels personal and meaningful. My worlds tend to have a strong fantasy flavor with historical influences, bringing depth and realism to the settings. NPCs are crafted with care to feel like real, dynamic individuals, and your actions will shape the course of the world around you. While I respect the rules of the game, I see them as a framework to support fun and creativity. If you come up with a clever or unconventional idea, I’ll do my best to work with it—so long as it fits the story and doesn’t break the game’s balance. I love rewarding ingenuity, roleplaying, and outside-the-box thinking. Tone-wise, I strike a balance between drama, action, and humor. I like to keep things light-hearted when appropriate but can dive deep into emotional moments when the story calls for it. My experience with improv helps me adapt to player ideas, and I’m not afraid to throw in surprises to keep things exciting.
