About Benjamin
Hail, Traveler, well met! My name is Benjamin. I am a DM with a light hearted, fun loving, collaboratively focused approach. I use 5e rules and mechanics with some reasonable flexibility. I prefer to homebrew settings and adventures in order to better embrace a living world feel, and to encourage and utilize group creativity, player agency, and the rule of cool. I enjoy DMing for players of all experience levels. Whether you began playing before the d20 was invented or you are brand new and wanting to learn, there is a place for you at my table. So, if you would like, grab a seat and lets get rolling.

I became a GM because
I became a GM because I had been interested in playing D&D since I was 12 or 13 years old, but had never had the opportunity. I decided that, if I couldn't find a game, I would create and run one.
My 3 systems I'd bring to a desert island would be
5e, Daggerheart, Shadowdark.
When I'm not running games I'm...
Enjoying time with my family or involved in one of my many other hobbies.
How Benjamin runs games
If there are any points that you would like clarification on or something not covered or anything else, please message me. I will be happy to chat and help ensure that I am the DM for you. Fun and lighthearted vibe. Rule of cool. Dnd 5e rules and mechanics. Rules as a guide not as a must. Homebrew sandbox. Will use backstory. Character actions and decisions help drive and create the story. Dad jokes. Bad puns. Accents and voices for NPCs. The above might be a promise or it might be a warning. Good at improvisation when necessary. Really good at descriptions. If the dice roll, the dice decide. Not a fan of arbitrary crunch.
