About Beeby
If you’re looking for a GM who can bring your characters to life, weave them into emotionally rich stories, and create a table that feels welcoming, safe, and unforgettable, welcome to the Hive! With over a decade of experience running games, I specialise in narrative-driven campaigns, collaborative roleplay, and helping both new and veteran players feel like heroes or lovable disasters in a world that responds to their choices. My background in acting means I bring strong character work and immersive storytelling to every session, but never expect players to “perform” unless they want to. I adapt to the vibe of the table, whether it’s emotional journeys, chaotic hijinks, or somewhere in between. I'm here to make your story shine! I live a nomadic lifestyle across the UK, house-sitting and caring full-time for my disabled partner while studying Psychology part-time. GMing TTRPGs is not just what I do - it’s what I live for. My sessions are inclusive, player-focused, and designed to build connection, confidence and creativity in safe environment for all LGBTQIA+ identities. Daggerheart and D&D are my bread and butter, however if you have another system you think would be a good fit for my style, send me a suggestion; I'm always open to trying new games!

I got started GMing...
I got started GMing when video games and theatre couldn’t scratch my itch for true creative freedom. I’ve always loved crafting original characters and headcanons in open-world games, but TTRPGs give me a space where those stories could truly come alive, shared with others.
How Beeby runs games
I run beginner-friendly, player-driven narratives rooted in organic worldbuilding and shaped by character choice. My games often explore morally grey themes, epic journeys, and the emotional consequences of decisions, but I’m equally at home running light-hearted, comedic romps. Roleplay is always welcome, never pressured; I bring strong character performances to the table, but players are encouraged to engage at whatever level they feel comfortable, even if it means only describing your actions in the 3rd person. Combat is typically run in theatre of the mind, with maps reserved for complex tactical encounters. I use house rules and mechanics adapted from a range of systems to balance out crunch and support the storytelling experience I aim to provide. I plan narrative arcs around key emotional or thematic beats, but most of the structure is fluid and responsive to the party’s choices. Consistent NPCs and improvisation help the world feel alive and reactive. I regularly adapt the plot, even during the session, based on what the players do or care about. Creating a safe, welcoming environment is a top priority. I specialise in accessible roleplay for all skill levels, and I always establish content boundaries in advance. My background in psychology and personal experience with mental health help me create a space where players of all backgrounds and identities, particularly LGBTQIA+ can feel seen, respected, and free to play as themselves without fear.
