About Gabriel
¤ Hey there, I'm Gabriel! I have been playing tabletop rpgs for about ten years and I have been running weekly games for close to eight. I have been a bartender off and on for many of those years. I genuinely love storytelling and getting to share big moments and feelings with people. ¤ Wondering what I'm capable of? My strengths as a Game Master are coming up with mechanically satisfying combats and encounters on the fly. I'm a prepper, though not as involved as some. I am pretty well versed on multiple systems as well as teaching/learning completely new ones, however I am extremely comfortable in D&D 5E. Making models and terrain! I discovered a real passion for making my own models as a child. When I was 12 I would use sharpee to draw on my toys and customize them. Little did I know, that was a budding obsession with kit bashing and painting. These days I make cool monsters and battlefields!
How Gabriel runs games
My strengths are coming up with mechanics on the fly to satisfy an exciting narrative beat. I have only run campaigns in homebrew settings, however, I am willing to run a game in YOUR setting of choice! If given the chance to run a game in a setting of my creation, players are invited to add any new lore to the setting to support the narrative they want to experience. Another of my techniques that players can expect are random tables, whether it's encounters or drinks at the tavern. I am a prepper so you can expect a 'last session' download at the start of every session and a lore document that you can peruse at your leisure. (by no means does anyone HAVE to read my lore, I just like writing them for my own pleasure)

Makes a huge swing when given the reigns of the narrative. Ive taken so many Ls from players choosing to do wild things and succeeding. However, the failures are far more memorable. So many of my favorite moments in sessions come from swinging for the fences!
