About Azel
I've been an on-again, off-again GM for around 9 years; my first introduction to TTRPGs came from a gift from my Grandmother. She gifted me a beginner's set for D&D's Lost Mine of Phandelver for my 16th birthday, and I spent weeks begging my friends to play it with me. My love of the game ended with me helping my High School start our very own Games Club, where I began my homebrew adventures. During the Pandemic, I GM'd for a group of 6 friends to kill time and keep us sane when things were scary. It was my longest-run campaign, lasting two full years before we ended things. I've continued to run small games for other groups of friends, but it's high time I start looking for others who want to create a long-standing game, have fun, and make great memories. I run the Rule of Cool, and welcome Homebrew ideas into most of my campaigns. I want to create a story with people, not just force them into a narrative I decide on alone. If someone comes up with a super cool idea, I'm not going to be a hard rules lawyer over it. It's cool, you'll have fun doing it. I want that. My tables are meant to be full of fun and creativity, and I reward that. If my table has a good time, then so do I.

How Azel runs games
I love roleplay-heavy games, with enough combat to keep my players leveling up at a decent pace to feel rewarding. I am very much a Rule of Cool GM and homebrew-friendly. My main focus each campaign is to ensure my players have fun with the story we make.

Making page after page of notes on each session and sprinkling in player character's lore to give them something to look for.
Azel's ideal table
My ideal table would be a group that is ready to drive the story forward and experience their character's story unfolding. My tables are very LGBTQ+ friendly, and anyone playing has to be cool with that. Often, I run my games with the open opportunity for romancing NPCs, and I will run a check to see what my players' comfort levels are about PC romance so we are all on the same page. Homebrew is one of my favorite parts of any game system, and I use it fairly often so long as my table is cool with it.
