About Aveio A.
Hello future heroes! I have been Dungeon Mastering for close to 5 years now and have been playing TTGs for the past decade. DND5e is what I primarily use to enrapture my players into my worlds, but I am always up for learning the systems for other systems as well. My favorite thing as a DM is getting to see the characters the players create have genuine moments in the worlds that I spin, it really is a feeling like no other. That being said I absolutely love when my players go wild with the roleplay, but have an equal amount of joy when they immerse themselves in the combat. Overall I am fairly "Laissez Faire" with how players want to progress and interact with the world around them, so long as everyone at the table is onboard with the direction. Overall my campaigns offer opportunities for both role-players and combat aficionados to enjoy themselves and I am always open to communicating with players on any subject that they have about the game or DND in general.

How Aveio A. runs games
I have a preference for the nitty gritty style of DND. The stories where choices matter and where choices are hard for both the party and the npc's. Survival isn't a right that is guaranteed, but is earned through trials and situations that put into perspective who the characters in the party really are. However I am very flexible when it comes to what kind of atmosphere players want and I have no problem switching from dark and grim to airy and light hearted. As for how I operate on the roleplay aspect I try my hardest to make compelling characters and give them personalities that the party will find interesting or relatable. I love doing an assortment of voices and sound effects to really drive home that extra bit of immersion. Whether the party wants roleplay front and center or combat focus during the sessions is entirely up to them through communicating to me and also their characters actions can lead to one or the other. Overall I have no issue making a session lean in either direction if that's what the party wants.

Rules are...
Guidelines first and foremost. Important for structure and cohesion but can and should change if they are too rigid or inhibit enjoyment.
When it comes to voices
I do my best for the setting and feeling for the character.
