About Arnold
I was introduced to the world of Dungeons in Dragons back in 2018 and have been hooked ever since. As a player I loved exploring, surviving and experiencing the world my character lived in. Now, as a DM, my passions lie in crafting that worlds and the layers that make it a living breathing environment. Having studied screenwriting, direction, and acting, storytelling is where my mind always gravitates to. I love breathing life into the fun, wacky, characters of my world with improv and voice work. At my tables, it's all about the players crafting a story in the world I build around them. If that sounds good to you, grab a seat!

How Arnold runs games
The name of the game is the group's enjoyment and making everyone feel comfortable, listened to, and part of the action! I like to take a balanced approach to DMing these sessions, doing my best to bring players the three main elements of D&D: combat, roleplaying, and exploring. While we may not get all three in one session, I do my best to inject those elements throughout the campaign. I like to put player enjoyment and cooperative storytelling over "word-for-word" rulings. It's not that I don't respect the rules (was a bit of a "rules lawyer" in my player days), I just really value the player's agency and lean towards the rule of cool when it's appropriate.

When it comes to voices
I'm not the best but I love'em
Arnold's ideal table
Team players. Dungeons and Dragons is a cooperative story-telling game and there's no main character, it an ensemble cast! Enjoy your character enjoying the company of the others.

I love it when a player
Work together to have fun together.
I think metagaming...
Has it's place but it's all about balance 👍
I think min/maxing...
is oftentimes a missed opportunity for real character story. Frodo wasn't min/maxed, Trevor Bellmont wasn't min/maxed, and Aang wasn't min/maxed either. Their flaws and shortcomings offer growth and bonding moments with their party when they pick up the slack.
