About Aevery Goldthorn

Hi, I'm Aevery! I've been running games on StartPlaying for 3 years, and I'm happiest teaching brand-new players and building worlds that feel alive. Expect voiced characters, a soundtrack for every town and battle, custom art and hand-built battle maps. My current campaign, Of Bugs and Bears: The Garden of Yggdrasil, is a homebrew world where you can play as anything nature could have become, with monthly festivals and between-session play in our Discord, the Wayfarers' Hall. New players get 50% off their first month.

The three words my players would use to describe me are...

Creative, welcoming, and full of voices. Those are the tags my players pick most often in their reviews!

How Aevery Goldthorn runs games

I love seeing players engage in whatever ways they most prefer and weaving their characters into new and exciting stories, so roleplay will go as long as the party has something to say. I like agile combat with descriptions of characters magic or fighting style, I'm great with voices. A few items to note: - Beginners Welcome - LGBTQIA+ Welcome - Safe Space tools for communication listed on profile and Discord - Please book 12h ahead so I can go over character info and VTT Discord - https://discord.gg/7JTTYACv
