About Abbi-Gm
Hello! I love D&D (and other assorted TTRPGs) enough to not mind being a forever GM. I believe in the simple fact that this is a game, and we are meant to have fun - my first goal is always ensuring we are all having fun. In the last couple of years I have realized TTRPGs are more fun when I run the games I enjoy, and now, I am glad to say I am open for GMing for strangers (who will soon become friends!) on the internet who enjoy similar game play style and games. For game play style - I believe in collaborative, enjoyable storytelling with compatible personalities. "Rule of Cool" with roleplay and whimsy is my style. I'm autistic, if I don't know a rule, I DO know how to look it up, or get clarification on it, but I also know how to have fun and wing it in a way that makes us all have fun. I am not a great DM for RAW lawyer Murder-Hobos, nor do I pretend to be - but if cozy, whimsical, fun and sometimes chaotic gameplay sounds fun? Then let's play some freaking TTRPGs! Games are played in Discord and Owlbear Rodeo with custom maps and tokens made from character art.

I got started GMing...
I really wanted to play more TTRPGs, and everyone else knew that you never offer to "learn how to GM" because you become a perma-GM, but no one told me that. So, I said, "I like to read, I enjoy telling stories, I'll try to GM" and here we are.
How Abbi-Gm runs games
Roleplay heavy, Rule of Cool leaning, make sure we all have fun, enthusiastic, style of GM. I believe in communicating up front the style of game, and matching the right game to the right player/game desire. We should all enjoy what we are doing, it's a game! I am super friendly to beginners, with the understanding that I do not always follow the letter of the law, or RAW. That said, I am super open to beginners who do not want to be bogged down with a billion details, or need someone to help them learn. Story and character driven collaborative fun. I will gladly build universes, but I want us to work together to leave the marks on them, form them into our own, and to watch the characters grow in a way that is satisfying to the player.

Abbi-Gm's ideal table
Ideally my table is full of goofy chaos goblins who enjoy role play and cozy fun times. People who understand a session can be incredibly fun without a single weapon being used - but who can also have a ton of fun with combat when it happens. Players who want to evolve and grow their characters and story arcs, who want to have a fun time, and play a fun game. People who enjoy the collaborative story process that TTRPGs provide. Ideally, none of us take ourselves too seriously, and we can have a ton of fun. In an ideal world, I play with people who either are my friends or become my friends, because in an ideal world, we all have fun and play lots of TTRPGs.

Can be boring. Get creative and have fun. It's not like I don't let players homebrew crazy OP stuff - stop trying to 'win' a collaborative game and just get creative and have fun instead.

Bad vibes. If you are looking for rules following or murder hobo mayhem, I am not the best place for you, no offense. If you are a hateful jerk who likes to be mean or bring racist, homophobic, sexist, transphobic, or stupid bigotry to my table, I am DEFINITLY not the right place, full offense. :)
