About Cally

Greetings, the name's Cally [he/him]. I'm a part-time game master and have played D&D and TTRGPs for about 5 years. I've played many games both as a player and GM, although I don't have a preference. I'm a nerd at heart and I won't deny it. I enjoy most of nerd culture and love writing up/sharing stories. Many tell me that I have aged past my years, however, that is because I aim to work with a stress-free mindset and not hold grudges. Regardless, I'm a chill, calm person who enjoys roleplay and allowing players to develop creative solutions. In recent times, I've begun to exit my comfort zone of gamemastering only D&D and move on to bigger, brighter things. I want to see what other games and systems have to offer and experience more out of the passion we all come to enjoy. I've taken a big liking to Pathfinder 2e, and after being a player in games for over a year. I figured it was now time to try my hand at gamemastering the system. However, I will make this clear. We are all here to have fun and I will take intolerance seriously of others. It is my responsibility to make sure that this is understood and that we all feel comfortable around my tables. This means I won't tolerate prejudice against any of my players and if you have a problem with that then you will be removed and not welcome back at my tables.

How Cally runs games

I'm a roleplayer at heart, typically putting on voices for each of my characters and giving them lively personalities. I encourage roleplaying at my tables as it creates more of an immersive experience for all the players involved. Accompanied by a good story it makes the experience a fantastic one and rewarding them as they do so. I also aim to make combat tense and enjoyable, playing the foes to their faults and strengths. But in the end, enough room to allow our heroes to prevail.
