About me
Hiya! I'm an old D&D player and DM from the '80's who's found his way back to 5e, like so many others... I've been playing a bunch of games, at home and through StartPlaying, and have finally started DMing again. I'm looking to test out my skills with one-shots and other things I've written, and figured this was just the right community to do so.
GM Style
To be honest, I love it all! But generally, I look for creative solutions, well-rounded characters, and a full embrace of the chaos of improv. I lean into a fair bit of roleplaying for characters and NPCs, or at least enough to make sense of who they are and why they do what they do. Mostly I want to help build big beautiful stories, as collaboratively as possible...
