The PTA of Meadow Ridge High

About the adventure

Between prom planning and bakesales, the PTA officers at Meadow Ridge High make up a monster-hunting team, with you as new members. Fight monsters, help your kids, and save the day (with little to no actual credit)! We'll be playing Monster of the Week, a system by Evil Hat Productions, described as "a standalone action-horror RPG for 3-5 people. Hunt high school beasties a la Buffy the Vampire Slayer, travel the country to bring down unnatural creatures like the Winchester brothers of Supernatural, or head up the government investigation like Mulder and Scully." The game will take place on Discord, with no required skill or knowledge required. We will make characters in free one-on-one sessions, and then meet all together for a session zero before we kick off the campaign! With me as your keeper, you'll hunt down six engaging and interesting monsters with the help of your party. You'll help me create the world you find yourselves in, interact with different NPCs, and kick some ASS. Let's get going!!

How to prepare

Webcams recommended, but not required! As long as I can hear you, we're all good! I'd prefer that you have your completed character sheet for session 0 but at the latest session 1. You will need two D6!

How will character creation work

We will make characters in a FREE one-on-one session before session zero! I'll send over all the needed resources for you to get started exploring the options before we get going!

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
