About the adventure

The introductory Adventure to Pathfinder 2nd edition. In this short adventure, news that large amounts of stored fish disappearing has Otari's dockworkers worried, so a small band of new adventurers is hired to investigate. Is this just a case of animals or hungry thieves making off with stores of food, or is there something fishy going on in this cellar? This *-approximately-* 3 session adventure acts as a immersive and effective tutorial to the mechanics of Pathfinder 2nd edition's combat and exploration gameplay. Players explore a 2-floor dungeon with traps, monsters, puzzles, hints of lore, and a thrilling final encounter. Pre-generated characters are available, but I am willing to assist with creating personalized characters as well. No prior system knowledge is required! (PFS credit is available to interested parties)

How to prepare

Discord will be used for voice chat, but if a player prefers to speak through text they will not require a mic, only headphones or speakers. Foundry VTT requires no accounts or downloads, only a web browser on a computer with decent internet connection. Note that mobile devices do not currently work well with this VTT. No dice or character sheets are required. Should a player wish to read the rules ahead of time, which is not required, I can provide them.

What I provide

I will provide the necessary means to run the game such as the VTT, maps, tokens, and simplified rules documents. I will also offer a small sketch for players to use for their character token if they wish to create their own character.

Gameplay details

A short session 0 will be had over chat sometime prior to the game to address expectations, to set Lines and Viels, and to notify me of any changes that might need to be made to the module (such as changing out a spider for something else or disabling blood effects). After session debriefing and communications during the session will be open for any concerns to brought up. Breaks will be had about every couple hours or called as needed.

How will character creation work

Pre-generated characters are available. Created characters are welcome and I am able to help those interested in building them so long as the player has a couple ideas for their character concept. Characters start at level 1 and will be level 2 by the end of the adventure.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
