About the adventure

Hello Pathfinders! Why SPG? I value a system that can validate the effectiveness of a Game Master. Whether you agree with paid games or not, We all know your mileage may vary on the quality of a Game Master. I like to use SPG as a sort of authentication mechanism. Google Reviews for Game Masters. Why Free? I'll be honest, I'm fishing for reviews. Aside from that, I want the barrier to entry for my table to be as low as possible. If I deserve more than that, the players should decide. Tips are always welcome. Hook "Embark on a journey where history, mystery, and adventure intertwine, where heroes are forged and legends come to life. Welcome to the world of the Pathfinder Society, a globe-spanning organization of explorers, archaeologists, and adventurers dedicated to discovering and chronicling the greatest secrets and treasures of a vast and magical world. As a member of the Society, you'll join an esteemed organization tasked with uncovering ancient ruins, deciphering long-lost knowledge, and contending with the arcane forces hidden in the shadows." About the Adventure Pathfinder Society missions are missions designed to take roughly 1 session to complete. They have a beginning a middle and an end. I'll adjust the title of each posting to indicate the level of RP/Combat in each one. Players of all skill levels are welcome. If you need assistance building your character I'll gladly do so.

How to prepare

1. Players should have at least read the (How to play) sections of the Heroes Handbook from the Beginner Box or the Core Rule Book. 2. Players should have at least a moderate-quality microphone with decent audio filtering. Please no TV background noise or people talking in the background. Audio will be via Discord 3. Webcams are not required but highly encouraged. 4. Create a character of appropriate level for the module. (See title)

What I provide

I bring everything! Players will just need to be using a relatively modern computer. Minimum Specifications Relatively modern computer running Windows 10 or 11, macOS Big Sur (or newer), or Linux operating systems, with support for 64-bit architecture. An integrated GPU to enable hardware acceleration. 8GB of RAM A monitor no smaller than 1366x768. At this minimum resolution many aspects of the UI will feel cramped. A modern web browser like Chrome, Firefox, Opera, or Edge with hardware acceleration enabled. (Safari is not a supported browser at this time). Recommended Specifications Relatively modern computer running Windows 10 or 11, macOS Big Sur (or newer), or Linux operating systems with support for 64-bit architecture. A dedicated GPU which supports WebGL 2.0. 16GB of RAM A monitor with 1920x1080 or higher resolution. A mouse. You can use the software with a touchpad but the current software is designed for mouse and keyboard. Chrome or a Chromium-based browser provides an experience closest to the FVTT desktop application.

Gameplay details

IMPORTANT: If the game is not full a week from the session start date, the date will be moved back a week. I don't want players or myself to feel rushed. I'll also be giving you a link to a survey so that I can get to know my players a bit better. 1. Things you can expect from this adventure. This adventure is a 1 shot if the adventure is not concluded by the end, I'll organize a second game the following week at the same time. 2. This is an official Paizo adventure. We will generally follow the plot of the adventure. The expectation is that the players cooperate with the plot of the adventure. 3. Roleplaying/combat will vary depending on the module. I'll try to indicate a ratio in the title of the game.

How will character creation work

- Use standard rules for character creation. No variant rules. - If you are a new player and need assistance. I'll try to make myself available prior to the session. - NOTE that after level 2ish, character creation can be somewhat time-intensive if you don't already know what you're doing. Keep that in mind if you are a new player.

Players can expect

  • Combat/Tactics: Medium
  • Roleplay: Medium
  • Puzzles: Medium
  • Experience Level: Beginner
