About the adventure

Are you a fan of Baldur's Gate 3? Then this is the game for you! The original module that inspired the game - Welcome to Baldur's Gate, a city of ambition and corruption! You’ve just started your adventuring career, but already find yourself embroiled in a plot that sprawls from the shadows of Baldur's Gate to the front lines of the planes-spanning Blood War! Do you have what it takes to turn infernal war machines and nefarious contracts against the archdevil Zariel and her diabolical hordes? And can you ever hope to find your way home safely when pitted against the infinite evils of the Nine Hells? This battle-intensive campaign will see characters flung into the chaos and maddening political intrigue of Avernus – first of the Nine Hells and one of the most dangerous places in all the planes! With a heavy mix of homebrew and adventure module content, your character will begin their story at level 3 so that the action really takes off. This campaign would be more-appropriate for players with at least some understanding of the 5e rule set, however new players are definitely welcome and can take advantage of my open door policy for communication to soon be rolling those dice like a pro with the rest!

How to prepare

A mic and an account on Discord and Roll20 are the only requirements! All sessions will include visual aids, handouts, maps and other immersive hooks to keep you invested in the action at all times.

Everything to fully-immerse yourself in the Forgotten Realms will be provided for you, fasten your seat belts!

How will character creation work

Character creation will be handled in Session 0. All players will begin the adventure at level 3 so that we can get straight into the chaos of Avernus and battle the legions of the Nine Hells in style!

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
