About me

Join a campaign with one of the top-rated Game Masters on StartPlaying! I specialize in running official Dungeons & Dragons campaigns. I love introducing the game to new players, so if you're unsure of the rules, or new to online role playing games, give one of my games a try! I've run games for players from a variety of backgrounds and skill levels, including volunteering as a DM with kids and young adults with autism. My games are a safe space for LGTBQ+ players, players of colour and players with neurodiversity.

GM style

Some notes about my games: The Tech | Voice Games - For voice games, I use Fantasy Grounds and Discord, with immersive sound from Syrinscape. You'll hear your fireball go off, when you cast it! The Tech | Text Games - For text games, I use the Avrae bot, which integrates D&D Beyond content directly into Discord. When needed, we can even include gridded combat! Player Agency - It's important that players know that their choices matter. The game environment will change and react to the player's actions from minute to minute, and session to session. Immersion - I do my best to get players to focus on the game environment, instead of their dice. Tactical maps - I favour tactical maps for combat, but don't emphasize the grid. Rules are there to be bent - I love improvised actions. If you want to bend the rules, describe how you're going to be awesome, and I'll work with you! Laughter - The game is all about laughing with/at your friends! (even the ones you haven't met yet...)
