Your boots crunch on dirt as you leave the landing craft. A beautiful coastline greets you, with a lush forest stretching beyond. The Earl of Sarkum is done waiting for the Adaenum tribes to accept his protection and lordship, and so has sent his men. The conquest of Anfla, and the subjugation of its people, has begun! ==================== Harnmaster emphasizes realistic medieval combat and social interactions, with a world that feels like a real place, complete with its own history, cultures, and politics. Though your character's background and attributes will lay out beginning skills, the game contains no "classes" and any skill can be improved slowly over time. The game encourages players to explore the dangerous world of Harn, where disease, hunger, and violence are ever-present threats. If you're looking for a challenging and immersive TTRPG experience that prioritizes realism and roleplaying, Harnmaster may be for you!

How to prepare

Requirements • A decent mic and headset in a quiet environment. Others should not hear their own voice reverb through your mic • A Discord account, where voice chat will take place Additional • Webcams are welcome if desired but are not required NOTE: Be advised that I do not personally use a live-action camera during gameplay, but rather have an animated avatar that motion tracks my face and movements which I may enable. My voice is unmodified but, for personal privacy, I avoid displaying my actual likeness online.

What I provide

• A Discord server and channels specific to the Campaign where players can communicate between sessions and track/compare notes, loot, etc. • A Foundry VTT game including maps, music, and dynamic lighting when applicable • An active imagination and engaging descriptions • Gameplay featuring theatre of the mind, simple line drawn tactical maps, and more complex artistic tactical maps

Gameplay details

Sessions will generally include a 10 to 15-minute break midway through for bio needs or otherwise. The content warnings provided are a generalization for the content likely to appear though as a mature game, there may be other topics that come up during play. If there are any specific lines you wish to avoid let me know, and I'll make note of it. GM Specific Lines and Veils are listed below. GM Lines There will be no sexual content, implied or explicit, involving minors. There will be no explicit violence against or involving babies or pregnant mothers. There will be no sexual assault against player characters or initiated by player characters. GM Veils Any sexual encounters will be strictly fade to black. While sexual content may exist and be present (for example, the party enters a brothel), there will be limited to no descriptions of sexual acts performed.

How will character creation work

Character creation in Harnmaster involves creating a Character Profile. Players may either randomly generate their character as normal or may use the Character Design rules (Character 21 in the Harnmaster rulebook) to form a character that fits a specific roleplay interest.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
