The fans are excited for the top three artists to give the performance of a lifetime, hoping that their fave will secure enough votes to win! All the hippest people will be there: music Media, entertainment Execs, talent scouts. This is the biggest money making event of the year for club owner Honey Bunches and a possible career making event for those who participate. 💥 👉🏽 👈🏼 💥 👊🏼 👊🏽 💥 🔪 🪓 💥 ⚔️ 🔫 💥 With shaky truces having been shattered and all out gang warfare descending on the area, emboldened thugs have started leaning on local businesses, demanding protection pay. Honey has pushed back, now the gangs are threatening to disrupt the Battle of the Bands in front of all the cameras and brain dance recorders, ruining the event, her reputation, as well as the club's. She can't have it. That's where you come in choombas. 📹 🦾 🕶 💥 📸 💥 💃🏿🕺🏽💃🏿 🕺🏽 💥 📸 💥 💪🏾 📹 💶💰💶💰 The crew was hired to provide extra security for the event, as the show must go on. However, too much muscle will put a damper on the fun, so you need to blend in to the crowd, taking care of problems before they cause disruption, and definitely out of sight of the cameras and VIPs. Everything has to go off without a hitch, then you get your Eddies. This game is about action and fun. The emphasis is on role playing, but there are ample opportunities for conflict and combat, both physical and social, subtle and outright. Put on your coolest outfits, put in those earplugs and keep your cybereyes peeled for trouble chooms! If you keep the Battle of the Bands on the rails, your reputation will go up as much as any performer's does.

How to prepare

Since this is a virtual game, mic and solid internet connection required. Webcam preferred, but not required. Video chat to be hosted on Google Meet or Discord, whichever works best for the group. I am not a fan of dice bots, and will be rolling physical dice, so please have your favourite dice or app. We roll on the honour system, but if you are rolling nothing but crits I may wish to scrutinized by video. :)

What I provide

Bring your characters and you dice/dice app. If you wish to use a pregen character, I will make a selection to choose from available beforehand. I bring with me the core rule book.

Gameplay details

Session 0 will be the intro portion of the game session where we will discuss Lines/Veils. Players can also send their Lines/Veils to me privately before the game starts is they prefer. X, N, O Cards can be sent via chat, or held up to video. Open Door in effect. This Cyberpunk RED game is 18+, so anticipate extreme violence, character death, sexuality and other mature themes (see CW below), however prejudice of any kind, if occurring in game from NPCs will be only alluded to (per players' Lines/Veils) and will not be tolerated at the table outside of that context. This is an inclusive game where people will be respected. Perpetrators/actors in bad-faith will be booted. Familiarity with Cyberpunk games and world setting is ideal, but all experience levels are welcome.

How will character creation work

Pregen characters are available to choose from. If you have the core rule book and would rather make a character, please use the "EDGERUNNER (Fast and Dirty)" method. Please arrive at the session with character "in hand." NOTE: Cyberpunk RED is notorious for a high character kill rate. Feel free to create/choose a backup character, or alternately pick from leftover pregens, should your character die.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
