About the adventure
ANY LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE: NEWBIE OR VETEREN. ALL SKILL LEVELS ARE WELCOME. Signs of Sumures is a player driven campaign with a good mix of combat and roleplay. This is for anyone of any skill level in DND. Be you a newbie or a veteran, fun and story building is the name of the game. Your characters will be embarking on a continent spanning adventure to figure out the nature of a curse they have been wrought with. Main point here is: Player Expression. I wish for people to work with me to develop character centric stories while also making decisions in session that will alter the course of the story significantly. There are no wrong answers here, it is all about the fun of the story we build. Disclaimer: PCs can die, PvP is allowed in some instances.

About me
I have been running a homebrew set of DND campaigns for approximately 5 or so years. I have a lot of experience in vocal roleplay and storytelling and wish to expand to more players to introduce this homebrew world i've worked hard on. I use a blend of 5E and 5.5E alongside a set of house rules and homebrewed elements. I focus deeply on character stories for my players and helping everyone have the spotlight at various instances. I enjoy a mixture of combat and roleplay, but if I had a choice I do prefer roleplay heavy sessions over combat heavy ones. But I still enjoy running both regardless. I'm decently adaptable and willing to work with my players to make the best experience for all of us. I'm also very new player friendly. I am patient and happy to help people learn the rules and ways of DnD

What Trey Silver brings to the table
New Player Friendly Colorful NPCs I do a lot of Character voices Fun and Challenging combat I am a mixture of rule of cool and rules as written. i will reward creativity within reason. Homebrew original Systems: Training to improve stats or gain proficiencies. Ultimate moves you can develop later into the campaign. A Multipath campaign with tons of variety and options for the players with only minimal railroading.
Homebrew rules
Critical Hits: Double Damage Critical Fails: usually results in a punishment of some kind. Flanking: if two people of the same party are on parallel sides of a enemy the attacks get advantage. Switching Weapons: Bonus Action Training: During Long Rests you can spend time training. This can be improving your stats slightly, gaining new weapon proficiencies, increasing aptitudes with spells, or sometimes gaining new feats depending on what you are training in. Critical Actions: These are ultimate moves you develop with me. These are your character's greatest ability. Starting out it can only be used once a day, but as time goes on your proficiency with it can increase to gain more uses. These do not come into play until at earliest level 5. Tactics: A Level 2 feat I created for more tactical depth. By foregoing your reaction you can tell an ally within range to do an attack or cantrip on an enemy you just dealt damage too. Revivify: Uses 300 gold given to the god of death if you do not have a gem of similar or higher value for the spell. Resurrection: 2000 Gold or a gem of equal value Curse Abilities: As stated you are cursed. depending how you treat the curse you may gain some interesting features for them. Blacksmithing: For weapons i allow customization to upgrade them, but for a cost. However if you find materials during your adventures it can offset much of the cost.
