About the adventure
In this level 20 brawl, heroes are gathered from across ancient history to champion the gods and entertain them in bouts of varying styles of combat. These champions may be pit against one another or forced to work together against greater foe(s), but one goal remains no matter what the challenge: the gods must be entertained. And make no mistake: the gods will intervene, and they will not play fair.

About me
I am a creative writer, a gamer, and a Dungeon Master who has 8 years of experience telling my own stories both large and small as a Novelist and Dungeon Master. So, if you want a Dungeons & Dragons campaign filled with compelling storytelling and focused on your narrative decisions as players, look no further. While I can run games in the standard D&D universe, and even various game universes like World of Warcraft or League of Legends, I specialize in Epic Fantasy and Historical Fantasy, using two homebrewed worlds that I have already created (and continue to mold through the actions of my players), and they are plenty big enough for more people :). If you are fans of the way DMs like Brennan Lee Mulligan, Matt Mercer, and Abria Iyengar run their campaigns, then you are probably going to fall right into the way I run mine, as they are three of my greatest inspirations. Player agency and narrative development (for each and every PC) matter most in my games, so if you're looking for all that and to experience the whole emotional spectrum over the course of a single campaign, then I will happily oblige you!

What Shane brings to the table
This is going to be a combat-focused one-shot by all means, however, there still will be plenty of role-play and banter as the opportunities arise. That said, even though this is a combat-focused one-shot, I will still be as reasonable and fair as I can with regard to bending the rules as written, so long as things make sense! Make no mistake though, these combats will not be easy.

How Shane creates a safe table
Prior to starting, I make sure to give each player the opportunity to tell me topics/concepts they don't wish to see at all (in private) so that I may endeavor to not make them uncomfortable at the table when the game kicks off.
