About me
Hail and well met! I'm Cammi—a storyteller, writer, and nationally awarded public speaker. I've been playing Dungeons & Dragons since 2018 and have spent years running both published adventures and homebrew campaigns in the D&D 5e system. Whether I'm guiding heroes through epic battles, political intrigue, magical mysteries, or character-driven role play, my goal is always to create a welcoming table where every player gets a chance to shine. I believe that there is a unique style of storytelling that only TTRPGs can offer. When we immerse ourselves in a story, adopting the motivations, hopes, and fears of our characters, we learn something new about ourselves and the world around us. New to D&D? Creating your character
We will use D&D beyond for character creation and campaign management. Please make a level 1 character to begin. No homebrew content. I have a Master Tier subscription on D&D Beyond that will allow me to share content from a vast array of sourcebooks, and any of that will be fair game to use. Feel free to create your characters in advance of the campaign. We will roll stats during session zero. All species allowed, good or neutral alignments only. Starting equipment only. Don't worry, you'll get cool magic items as we play!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need to have a Discord account and a D&D Beyond account. I will send you a link to join the Discord server and the campaign in D&D Beyond once you join. We will meet via voice/video calls on Discord (camera optional!).
What Cammi brings to the table
You can expect lots of fun NPC voices and personalities, background music to set the right vibe for the moment, and a rich world/campus to engage with. This campaign will be roleplay heavy but also feature puzzles, combat, and mysteries. As a DM, I typically stick to rules as written, but I frequently implement rule of cool to facilitate the most enjoyable stories for my players.

How Cammi creates a safe table
Prior to the campaign starting, I will send out a Lines and Veils document so that we can set clear guardrails and boundaries for certain topics. We will have a Session Zero wherein we will discuss expectations for tone/themes/interactions with NPCs and PCs. We will also have digital X, N, & O's. I typically also give a mid-game break for about 10 minutes.
