About the adventure
Welcome Adventurers! In the land of Theros, belief is reality. The more mortals believe in a god, the more power the god holds. This is why the gods above jostle and vie for the praise and worship of the mortals below. However, there is a force older and darker than the gods underpining reality. The dark nothingness of khaos that had to be defeated for life to exist. Something seeks to bring it back. Your gods have chosen you as their champions. Journey across the realm of Theros to find the Archon Basileus of Khaos and thwart his plans to destroy all. But be thus warned: As you seek Khaos, so too does Khaos seek you.

Creating your character
PREMADE CHARACTER SHEETS AVAILABLE ON REQUEST Characters start out at level 1. All official classes and species are welcome. Homebrew species and classes need DM permission. Character sheets will be made on DnD Beyond. We will be using milestone leveling, no encumbrance. If you've never built a character before, don't worry. I will walk you through the process during Session 0.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need a microphone, as well as accounts for Discord and DnD Beyond. Characters can be created ahead of time, or we can create them together during Session 0.
What Michael brings to the table
I will be hosting the game using a combination of DND Beyond and Discord. I have access to most source books, and am willing to go find more if a player has a character idea. I do character voices to help me keep the various NPCs straight in my head. I think they're pretty good, but I'll let you be the judge. I have never hosted a session with ambient music before, and would like to experiment with it this campaign. If it isn't working we will adjust. In general, I tend to lean more "Rule of Cool." I strongly encourage players to attempt shenanigans. I tend to use the rules as a guideline to keep storytelling consistent and more unpredictable, as opposed to a rigid set of limitations on what characters can and cannot do.

How Michael creates a safe table
In Session 0, we will be sure to have a moment to go over any triggers or sources of discomfort players have so I can avoid them during gameplay. I will maintain an open door policy for any player who has concerns during games. I will also provide a post-session talk where layers can bring up any concerns they have.
