About the adventure

Every week, a new nightmare. Step into a rotating series of standalone horror adventures inspired by the most iconic (and terrifying) tropes in horror—haunted houses, cursed towns, slasher stalkers, cosmic dread, and things that should never have been disturbed. One week you might be trapped in a mansion that doesn’t let anyone leave. The next, you’re stranded somewhere you were never meant to find. And sometimes… the monster is already among you. 🩸 Each session is a complete story — survive it, or don’t. 🎭 Drop in or out anytime — no commitment required. 🎲 Play a new character every week or bring one back… if they live. ⏳ Time: Tuesdays, 7–10 PM 💀 System: D&D 5e (horror-focused, story-driven) This is a game about tension, choices, and consequences. Combat is deadly. Trust is fragile. And survival is never guaranteed. Do you make it to morning?

About me

I’ve been a forever DM of my friend group for the last ten years. I’m a high school English teacher looking to supplement my pay over the summer. I love the camaraderie and teamwork aspect of Dungeons and Dragons, meeting new people, and especially helping new players find a love of the game. I often like to create homebrew worlds with lots of mystery, suspense, drama, and political intrigue. Whether this is your very first Dungeons and Dragons campaign or your 100th, I’m hoping to create an enjoyable experience for you and the rest of your party. I’m currently an English teacher--I’ve previously taught 11th Grade English and am hoping to slide down to 7th or 8th grade English next school year! I have two tuxedo kittens, Oreo and Kevin, and my favorite guilty pleasure is binge-watching Grey’s Anatomy over the summer.

What Hannah Grover (katwenty) brings to the table

I have access to The Player's Handbook for 2014 rules and also a set of the 2024 rules as well. I am definitely going to immerse you in a spooky, horror-filled, gritty and realistic gameplay. I will be ensuring that everyone is aware of the upcoming sessions and any preparations that need to be done by the players beforehand. I will be ensuring that boundaries are not crossed and that this remains a safe and healthy environment. I will do my best to ensure that everyone has time and space to speak and to play their characters as they wish to.

Homebrew rules

In this game, all death saving throws must be whispered to the GM and not revealed to the other players.

How Hannah Grover (katwenty) creates a safe table

I will be sending a link to a google form that will ask about what boundaries and triggers you may have so that we can keep it a safe environment for everyone. We will also have a rule in place that you can just DM me if I missed something or there is an issue that needs to be raised before we go further with play.
