Hey! Thank you for reading up about me! It is pronounced 'Weird.' *The word "wyrd" comes from the Old English verb meaning "to become," reflecting its role as a shapeshifting, active force. It is not as rigid as the Greek concept of fate; Wyrd is influenced by actions and choices, meaning individuals can impact their own destiny. * This is how I run my games, shifting things around as you make your choices, becoming causality and give you the reactions to your decisions. Now that I've run over 1000 games for a variety of amazing players, let me just say that I love this job. It has become more of a community of awesome people, and I am all about it. To new people looking for a place to land, you can have as much, or as little, social contact as you want. No one will judge. I've played D&D since I was a little geek in a small town in upstate NY. I now live in a medium sized city in Colorado, and I'm a much larger geek. If there is a roleplaying game out there, I've probably tried it. I keep coming back to D&D, though. What to expect

Preparing for the session

◆To ensure compatibility, applicants should be prepared to meet with the DM prior to being invited to join the game. This helps to ensure that everyone is a good fit for both the group and the table ◆Discord is necessary, as well as a good working mic. Beyond is needed to create characters, but we play on Foundry with all the bells and whistles. ◆Be prepared to work as part of a group - no lone wolves please.

What Wyrd brings to the table

Expect to have some great focused combats, but there will be politics and many chances for RP as well! I use ambient music and character voices to create the right atmosphere. Foundry pulls it all together, making it an experience. I bring thousands of hours of experience with the system, updated maps, and my beyond will be shared so you'll have access to my library as well.

Homebrew rules

Only one real change from the rules - Critical fails only happen when you have disadvantage ,but all d20 rolls are subject to this rule.
