About me
I started playing tabletop games in 2005, met my husband through a tabletop game, and have helped raise our children in like tradition. I have played in a wide range of systems, including Pathfinder, Warhammer 40K, Legend of the Five Rings, My Little Pony Roleplaying Game, and Dungeons & Dragons 3.5-2025. I have also run a handful of homebrewed D&D one- and two-shots when our usual DM was indisposed, and my players' enthusiastic praise has encouraged me to give professional gamemastering a try. I am a queer, neurodivergent mother with 4 college degrees, over a decade of experience in customer service, and an unexpectedly halted tenure as a federal civilian employee. Each facet of my life has given me a new lens for understanding humanity and accepting people as they are. What Lia brings to the table
I run narrative games with an emphasis on player choices and roleplay. I do character voices and will include ambient music upon request. I usually follow the Rules as Written but am willing to bend or adjust them in support of narrative, the play experience, or common sense (such as giving cats Darkvision, which wasn't RaW until 2024e).
Homebrew rules
Critical hits are "perfect crits", in which the normal attack damage is maximized and only the additional dice bestowed by the crit are rolled.
