About the adventure
A simple job. Quick gold. No questions asked. A shadowy contact has hired you to intercept a valuable package arriving by ship under cover of night. The plan is straightforward: get in, secure the goods, and deliver them quietly. What could go wrong? This one-shot centers on a heist that can unfold in countless ways depending on your choices. Will you stick to the plan, improvise when things get messy, or take the opportunity to pursue your own goals? Every decision matters, and the story will shift based on what you do in the moment. I run roleplay-forward games that reward creativity, player agency, and outside-the-box thinking. Expect meaningful choices, dynamic encounters, and the freedom to approach problems your way—whether that’s careful planning, bold action, or complete chaos. Shenanigans are welcome, but they come with consequences. This game is beginner-friendly but not a learn-to-play session. I’m happy to provide pre-generated characters or help you build one using my D&D Beyond content. Best suited for older teens and adults, with a mix of tension, humor, and unpredictable outcomes shaped by you.

Meet the Game Master
About me
Hello! I'm Britt. I delved into tabletop gaming during COVID and never looked back. I've been Game Mastering since June 2021, and I started playing in September 2021. I'm well-versed in D&D 5e and am learning Daggerheart, along with other table top systems. My tables are welcoming spaces for everyone, regardless of age, race, gender, or experience level. I've hosted games for players ALL ages with the youngest at 6, from newcomers to veterans. They're always LGBTQ+ friendly, and my pronouns are she/her. In our games, we come together to weave stories, and I'm here to facilitate that. Whether it's a one-shot or a mini-campaign, players drive the narrative, and I'm here to guide and enhance their storytelling. We play on Roll20 and use Discord for voice communication. Character creation, if needed, can be done on D&D Beyond for easy access to resource books. Feel free to share any homebrew ideas; we can create the perfect character and story together.

Creating your character
Characters will be created before the game, with support available in my Discord if you’d like help or want to collaborate on ideas. You’re welcome to bring a character concept, and I’m happy to help you build or refine it. I can also provide pre-generated characters if you’d prefer to jump right in. Character Options: Most official content is allowed Homebrew and third-party options are welcome with approval Ability Scores: Roll 4d6, drop the lowest die for each stat (max 18 per stat) If you roll two stats below 10, you may reroll those stats and keep the better results If you roll three or more stats below 10, you may reroll the full set and keep the better array Level: This one shot will be Level 5. If you have questions or want feedback, my Discord includes a dedicated space for character creation and discussion.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Before the game, you’ll receive links to join Discord, D&D Beyond, and Roll20. Requirements: A working microphone is required A webcam is encouraged (this is a roleplay-focused game, and seeing each other helps bring the table to life!) All platforms used are free. I’m happy to help you get set up if needed.
What Britt S. brings to the table
What will I bring: - D&D Beyond content - Roll20 content - maps, handouts and colorful NPCs - character driven story with plenty of space to customize for each player - dedicated channels for questions, in character chat, and recaps
Homebrew rules
**NOTE - if the players can do it, so can the enemies!** Flanking: Players must be on opposite sides of the enemy for advantage on their attack Potion Consumption FOR YOURSELF: Using your action allows you to gain the max benefit of the potion. You can opt to use your bonus action instead and roll for the healing instead. FOR OTHERS: This will always require an action and the healing will need to be rolled. Critical Hit Modification: On a critical hit, roll 1 die and then add the max damage for you damage die. ( e.g. 2d8 damage: 5 (rolled)+ 8 (max) = 13 dmg.)

How Britt S. creates a safe table
Safety Tool Details: Session Zero: Number One Rule - Everyone gets to have fun, but not at the expense of another. The Session Zero document will be shared in the Discord and players strongly encouraged to reach out with any additional lines or veils. As a rule, I am always available via DM on discord and the dedicated channel for this campaign if there are general questions. These are open for review and discussion as we progress through the planning.
