London, 1891 Under the London fog, denizens of Brixton have had many a sleepless night - the lucky ones have anyway. For weeks, Londoners in the area have been reporting dreams of truly daunting horror. That's right, while many may fear the sick within the sanitoriums, citizens of Brixton might just be finding themselves coveting some padded walls soon. Crazy is what many would call the things that our investigators are hearing, but is that truly so? Is this new horror mere hysteria or an epidemic on the rise? No matter what you believe, this all does raise the question - what in the hell is going on in Brixton? ___________________________________________________ This game takes place in late 19th century London, during the Victorian Era. The city, though one of the largest in the world, is also ripe with illness from the tuberculosis epidemic and poverty from overcrowding. Opium surges as a comfort to those who can afford it, and now a new fear has people desperate for any relief. You will take on the role of investigators of one sort or another that are on the heels of a surge in reports of horrifying nightmares going throughout the neighborhood of Brixton. Now, though, they've gone past nightmares, as violent deaths have been recently reported to be accompanying these night frights. Will you uncover the source of the nightmares of Brixton? More importantly, will you survive to tell any if you do?
