About me

Hey, I'm Kingdom. I have been playing and DMing Dungeons and Dragons for 10 years now, and I love it. I originally got into D&D by listening to and/or watching Critical Role, The Adventure Zone, and XPtoLevel3, all of which I still enjoy today. Over the course of my 10 years 10 years, I've mainly played as the DM, but have also played in a couple of campaigns as a player. I have Dmed campaigns across many different genres and have found that I am most comfortable playing with horror themes in a high-fantasy setting. My current campaign, which has been going on for three years now, is set in my homebrew world of Narrilia and is set in a high-fantasy era in which magical mutations on legendary monsters are wreaking havoc across the continent my players are travelling through. Homebrew is what I enjoy most of all. Over the years, I have made various Subclasses, Species/subspecies, spells, magic items, feats, and monsters, all for my players and me to enjoy. All in all, I love Dungeons and Dragons, and I'm looking forward to playing more in the future.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

We will be using D&D Beyond for character sheets (All relevant content will be unlocked for you to use), Discord for meetings and play, and owlbear rodeo for any combats. You will need an account for all of these services (I can help with setup if needed)

What Kingdom brings to the table

Will be bringing 10 years of experience playing D&D and other TTRPGs. The goal is to make Escape the Nightcage as fun for my players as I can. This includes voicing NPCs with accents and dialects depending on the creature (though I don't expect voices from pc's if they're uncomfortable with doing so), Epic combats with homebrew rules to make it feel like you're watching a movie, and powerful abilities to make the characters powerful enough to fight anything.

Safety

How Kingdom creates a safe table

We will start with a session 0 (free of charge), during which we will go over boundaries, safety tools, what everyone is expecting from the game, and how we will approach play. It's also the time when we will meet and hang out for the first time, create characters and connections, and figure out the finer details of it all
