About the adventure
Journey through Mirabilis: A World of Wonders is a campaign crafted from Roll & Play Press's "One Shot Wonders Volume 1". Compiled from a series of premade one shots that have been strung together into a long form story, this campaign will start at Level 5 and carry players through Level 10! The story will carry players through the various regions of Mirabilis from the Coast of the Fantasian Ocean, to the city of Laagehoven, and onward to the Thornscale Mountains. Your party will encounter various monsters, puzzles, mysteries, and more as you weave your heroic tale. This will be a relatively role-play light campaign, ideal for newer players who might feel intimidated by the more complex modules our there. That said, there will be roleplay, combat, dungeon crawling, etcetera, and this will feel like a Dungeons and Dragons campaign.

About me
Hi there! My name is Spencer Quimby and I have been DM'ing ongoing and one-shot campaigns for about four years now. I started out as a player with one of the best Dungeon Masters ever (just for me personally), and once they weren't able to DM anymore I started my own campaign. Most of my experience is in Homebrew campaigns and one-shots, but I have also dabbled in pre-written campaigns as well as forgotten realms campaigns. I love the unique art of Dungeons and Dragons storytelling and how it allows me to build new worlds and let people step into my creation and build it with me. Everyone has a seat at my table no matter who you are or where you came from, and I'll be damned if we don't have a great time. I live in Eugene, Oregon with my wonderful wife and my dog Biscuit, who sometimes likes to participate in my campaigns as well.

Preparing for the session
DnD Beyond Campaign: https://www.dndbeyond.com/campaigns/join/72064082119253829 D&D Beyond is a free service where you can create characters and run games for Dungeons and Dragons. It is web hosted so you do not need to install a program to use it, however there is an app available for IOS/IpadOS/ Android. For chat we will be using Discord so please install the latest version of the discord desktop application or download the app on your smart device(s). An invitation link to the game chat will be provided after booking this game. I will be hosting the VTT on DND Beyond, so no other programs or websites will be required to play! Please let me know if you have any questions.
What Spencer Quimby brings to the table
I have enabled content sharing in the campaign on D&D Beyond so you have access to all the materials I have access to! That means you do not need the players handbook or any extra materials. I will also be providing access to our Virtual Table Top (VTT) on DND Beyond and hosting our chat through Discord. What should you expect when playing with me? Since there may be a mix of new and seasoned players it is important to note that I will take time to explain things like mechanics and assist with roleplay as needed. Rule of cool is always in play at my tables, and I also strive to make sure everyone at the table is comfortable and welcome! I will be doing voices to the best of my ability for all NPC's, and if requested I can have background music available in our Discord chat. We're here to have fun and that's what we're going to do!

How Spencer Quimby creates a safe table
During this campaign we will have an open door policy, which means that at any point you are allowed to leave the campaign, no questions asked, if you feel uncomfortable. You can also feel free to DM me in discord or through Start Playing if you are concerned about something happening at the table. After the one-shot we will be doing a Stars & Wishes, where we go around and players will give a star to one thing they enjoyed about the game, and then say what they wish had been done differently! This feedback will be very helpful for me as our campaign goes on, and as I offer more tables and games for others, or if you decide to join me again!
