Demigods & The Olympians: Manhattan Mythologies
You didn't ask to be a half-blood. You didn't ask to run around New York helping other half-bloods. But like most half-bloods: you have no choice :)

About the adventure
Have you ever wanted to experience an adventure as a modern demigod in the world of Percy Jackson and the Olympians? Well now you can! Play as a demigod in D&D 5th edition in a homebrew campaign set after the events of the book 'The Tower of Nero'. Be a demigod in Camp Half-Blood, go on adventures in New York; and survive in a world where man, monsters, and gods might try to kill you on a daily basis! [I don't own Percy Jackson in any way, this is just a fan made homebrew setting set in the same world.]

About me
I've been playing D&D 5e for 10 years now, and been a forever DM for about 8 of those years. I've introduced a lot of friends and family to the game who have fallen head over heels with role playing and rolling dice. I've run many one shots over the years and have kept an ongoing game going for 8 years! Looking to start sharing my GMing with those outside my usual sphere of people, and get some new experiences as a storyteller!
View Profile →Character creation
Creating your character
You will create your character on D&D Beyond. You can roll for stats, use standard array, or point buy; just be honest about your rolls. Make a 3rd level character of human race (if you wanted to play a satyr or dryad that is also an option we can discuss). Martial based or minimal casting class is preferred, but caster classes are an option based on discussion during character creation. There will be a session 0 where most of this will be discussed.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
BE WARNED: If you haven't read "Percy Jackson & The Olympians", "Heroes of Olympus", and or "The Trials of Apollo" book series there will be potentially major spoilers for the books and subsequent TV series throughout the campaign since the setting is based in the same world just years after book and TV events. Make sure you have a D&D beyond account and a Discord account with access to video calls.
What AJ brings to the table
I do character voices and encourage character voices! I'll attempt ambient music (discord bot willing)! There will be amble opportunity for combat and roleplaying! We use Rules as Written to a point, but since this a homebrew setting with homebrew rules galore, don't be surprised by Rule of Cool being used from time to time.
Homebrew rules
There will be homebrew stats given on top of your regular character stats! These stats will depend on your choice or randomly assigned godly parent! You might be overpowered, but so are certain monsters... I will also include a list of general homebrew rules in a separate link.

How AJ creates a safe table
Session 0 we will go over generally world building as well as character creation. I will include a TTRPG Consent sheet for you to fill out as well. There will be aftercare for each session as well as open discussions should the need arise.
