About the adventure
Wrath and Glory in the Gilead System This is a long form Wrath and Glory campaign set in the Gilead System, a region cut off from the Imperium by the Great Rift. Most campaigns here either feature a Rogue Trader as a central NPC, or have one as a member of the party. Because of that, character creation is intentionally flexible. Nearly any archetype can fit at the table, as long as it makes sense in play and can work with the group. If you have a strong character idea, the default answer is yes. The goal is to support creative concepts, not limit them. The game focuses on player choice, cinematic moments, and a living world that responds to what you do. There is an ongoing situation in the system, but no fixed script. Clever plans, bold moves, and imaginative solutions are encouraged and rewarded. Rule of cool absolutely applies when it enhances the story and the table’s fun. Expect a mix of investigation, negotiation, and combat. Violence is common in the setting, but it is not the only tool. Social plays, risky gambits, and smart use of abilities matter just as much as firepower. The tone is grimdark, but the table is collaborative. The universe is harsh, but the game is not adversarial. Player creativity is treated as a feature, not a problem to manage. The game is run on Foundry VTT with all materials provided. I own and actively use content from the Core Rulebook, Starter Set, An Abundance of Apocrypha, Church of Steel, Darktide: Extraction, Forsaken System Player’s Guide, Litanies of the Lost, Redacted Records I and II, and Threat Assessment: Xenos. New and veteran players are both welcome, and deep system mastery is not required to enjoy the game. If you want a Warhammer 40K campaign where big ideas are supported, character concepts are flexible, and rule of cool has a real seat at the table, this game is a strong fit.

About me
In the modern world of relentless monotony, you might be looking for a Burt!. Not quite an NPC and not quite a PC, but something in between. I’m here to serve as your Boredom Tech Support©, turning a few hours at the table into something immersive, engaging, and memorable. I’ve been running tabletop RPGs for over two decades, building worlds, guiding stories, and helping players step into characters that matter. I focus on games where choices have weight, scenes move with purpose, and the world responds to what you do rather than forcing you down a script. Sometimes that means intense narrative play, sometimes it means open exploration, and sometimes it just means having a damn good time rolling dice with friends. I run everything from classic D&D to Pathfinder to Warhammer 40k Wrath & Glory, and I tailor each game to the group at the table. Whether you’re here for deep roleplay, tactical combat, or a balanced mix of both, my goal is to make sure the session feels complete, coherent, and worth your time. My table is inclusive and welcoming, with a firm expectation of mutual respect. Everyone deserves a space where they can enjoy the shared act of imagination without nonsense getting in the way. In character, things can get strange, dangerous, or intense. Out of character, the table stays calm, friendly, and drama free. When the call to adventure sounds, I’m ready to guide the way. Let the dice roll, the pages turn, and the story unfold. “Knowing where the trap is; that’s the first step in evading it.” Frank Herbert, Dune Maybe, I mess with them for the fun of it. Maybe I don’t. Burt!, the other day No nasty R’s. Rude, racist, or repugnant behavior will not be tolerated at the table.

Creating your character
Character creation in Wrath and Glory is quick and easy. To get started, you'll choose a faction from among the various factions, Imperial, Eldar, Ork, to name a few. Each faction has its own unique strengths and weaknesses, as well as special abilities and equipment. Once you've chosen your faction, you'll select your character's archetype. This will determine your character's role on the crew, such as a combat specialist or a tech expert. You'll also choose a background, which will give you additional skills and abilities. Next, you'll allocate points to your character's attributes, which represent their physical and mental capabilities. These attributes include things like Strength, Agility, and Intelligence. You'll also choose a set of skills, which represent your character's specific talents and abilities. Finally, you'll select your character's gear and weapons. This is where you'll choose your character's signature equipment, such as a power sword or a custom-built lasgun. You'll also have the option to choose additional equipment, such as grenades or a grappling hook. All of these choices come together to create a unique character that is ready to explore the universe of Warhammer 40k. And with the game taking place on the VTT Foundry, you won't need to purchase any additional materials to get started. So gather your crew and get ready to set sail on a journey of adventure and danger!
