About the adventure
Dive into the world of Call of the Netherdeep, an epic Critical Role adventure that blends mystery, emotion, and destiny. This campaign is a slow-burn, sandbox-style story where choices shape the journey and characters grow through the weight of their decisions. From the bustling streets of Ank’Harel to the sunken horrors of the Netherdeep, your path is not fixed, it’s written by how you play. Each session offers freedom to explore, build relationships, and discover what drives your heroes as much as what threatens them. This is a game for players who enjoy deep roleplay, emotional storytelling, and meaningful character arcs over constant combat. The stakes rise slowly, but the payoff is powerful, a journey that tests not only your courage but your heart. If you’re ready to lose yourself in a world of secrets, rival adventurers, and ancient regret beneath the waves, your story begins here.

About me
My name is Thomaz, i'm from Brazil and DMing is my full time job! The first time i played D&D was back when i had 12, it was 3.5e. I had no ideia what i was doing but i felt in love with this game. My favorite edition by far is 5e, its so easy to learn! I have a large selection of campaigns i can DM for any party, going from light-hearted to dark fantasy. If i dont know it yet i can quickly get a it ready if the party wants! I also have a degree in languages (Portuguese-English), back in the day my goal was to teach native English speakers to learn Portuguese. I don't plain to be a tutor anymore, but i think i can still have that goal with D&D, helping my players learning while they play! My main goal is show the amazing world of RPG and help them to learm it! I have a game every single day of the week, morning and evening!

Creating your character
I strongly encourage players to create their own characters, but if they don’t have time, I’ll have plenty of pre-generated character sheets available. I have a campaign on D&D Beyond with content sharing enabled, so you should be able to create your character there with no problem! After that, we’ll import it into Foundry. The rules for character creation are simple: Point Buy (27 points), all official materials are allowed (except for backgrounds that grant extra feats), and no homebrew, though some cool UA might be allowed if the player really wants it. Everything in the game will be handled through FoundryVTT, rolling dice, grid combat, and so on, but all chat will be managed on Discord.
We’re level 3, and we have a rogue, a monk, a ranger and a cleric! We are in our wait to Urzin!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
All players will need to connect to both Discord and FoundryVTT, links for both will be provided. I also recommend building your character on D&D Beyond. Please have at least a decent microphone; a webcam is only necessary if you feel comfortable using it. Players don’t need to be D&D rules experts, but I strongly encourage everyone to learn about their own class.
What Thomaz Eblen brings to the table
Being a Dungeon Master is my full-time job, and I take it very seriously. I have over 10 years of experience as a DM, and for this adventure alone, I’ve had more than 10 groups play through it. With FoundryVTT, there are all sorts of animated spells, battlemaps, and other features to enhance immersion! I also have a vast shared content pool on D&D Beyond that all of my players can access!
Homebrew rules
I tend to add rules as the campaign goes on, to improve my players’ quality of life.

How Thomaz Eblen creates a safe table
This adventure is a sandbox with a lot of quests, and none of them are irrelevant to the main narrative, not even the smaller ones. If the party completes all the content in this module, you can expect to reach level 14 by the final fight. I’ve DMed this many times, and I’ve made several changes to the base adventure to make it an even more enjoyable experience for players. No PvP allowed!
