Axe from the grave
a desecrated grave, new bards school starting up and an heist to plan.
About the adventure
Last year, while exploring the infamous Nulfa’s Tower, tragedy struck The Strings, a musical group turned adventuring party. The famous bard and frontman, Froderic Dartwild, was slain. After a daring escape from Nulfa’s Tower, the surviving members returned their fallen companions to their homes, and Froderic was laid to rest in the humble town of Toadhop. But last night, something unthinkable happened… the undead Froderic Dartwild rose from his grave. He now haunts his childhood home, driving the current residents away in terror. As your adventuring party passes through Toadhop, you hear whispers of the infamous bard’s return. The town is on edge, and everyone’s talking about the haunted house that was once Froderic’s boyhood home. Can you uncover the mystery of why Froderic Dartwild has risen from the grave and put the legeand to rest once and for all?
Meet the Game Master
About me
Looking for a Dungeon Master who can elevate your game to new heights? Look no further—I'm Alex, and I'm the DM you've been waiting for. D&D, to me, is more than just dice and rules—it's a living, evolving story where my players are just as much the authors as I am. Using immersive voices, ambient music, and custom maps, I bring every game to life. But it’s not just about the world I create; it’s about how we build it together. I give my players full agency within an open sandbox, with events unfolding in my world regardless of the party's involvement. Your character isn’t just a stat block—it's a part of this world. I work closely with players to craft backstories that are woven into the fabric of my campaigns, often driving personal goals alongside the main plot. Whether you’re after a deep, character-driven journey or a wild ride full of high-jinks and epic moments, my games focus on rich storytelling, immersive roleplay, and combat encounters that keep things dynamic and exciting. I love making my players feel like heroes of legend, and I'm always open to bending the rules for an unforgettable narrative moment or a jaw-dropping "wow" factor. With my relaxed, fun-loving style, I ensure an inclusive and memorable experience where everyone at the table feels like they truly belong. If you're looking for a Dungeon Master who can turn every session into an unforgettable adventure, let’s roll some dice and create something epic together!

I’ve had the pleasure of playing in a homebrew D&D campaign with Alex as the Dungeon Master, and I can confidently say he’s one of the best DMs I’ve encountered. His storytelling ability is top-notch, weaving immersive narratives that keep everyone engaged while leaving plenty of room for player creativity. Alex has a natural talent for balancing detailed world-building with the unpredictable chaos of a D&D session, ensuring that every moment feels meaningful and fun. What truly sets Alex apart is his flexibility. He has a remarkable ability to adapt to the group’s preferences, creating a fun, casual atmosphere without sacrificing the depth of the story. Whether it’s making space for silly character antics or pivoting the plot based on unexpected player decisions, Alex ensures that everyone feels included and valued in the campaign. If you’re looking for a DM who can bring your D&D sessions to life with engaging storytelling and a laid-back, fun vibe, Alex is the one to call. I’m grateful to have experienced his campaigns and can’t wait to see where his stories take us next!
This campaign is a brilliant blend of epic battles, cunning plots, and lol moments thanks to Alex’s personality. Our DM deserves kudos for turning what could have been a typical villain encounter into an entertaining comedy goldmine. I can’t wait to see what surprises lie ahead with Vladin.
This is a friend of a friend that I hadn't truly gotten to know until our first session. This was my second campaign I had been apart of and it was an absolute treat. Alex was knowledgeable and accommodating to all 6 players about skills and options available throughout the campaign. He not only had a laid out plan for everything but took the time to write new possibilities for variations created by the players. Everything felt in world and cannon. Also he does fun voices 👍

How Darkmoon Gaming creates a safe table
I have a session 0 channel with my general practices and guidelines for my games I ask players in my one shot to read through the information on their own. I will be stopping to take a break at about the halfway point. I keep an open-door policy at my table if a player needs to step away or pause the game that's ok, we can address any issue and move on. lastly, I'll be hosting a debriefing for my players after the session to cover and concerns or issue that may have come up
