Creating your character

Character creation will be hosted on D&D Beyond. 🔴 Create a level 3 character (no homebrew, but no other limits) 🔴 Use standard or point buy for your stats 🔴 Multiclassing is allowed 🔴 Start the game with any 1 uncommon magic item of your choice! 🔴 PLUS give yourself any 1 item from the Guild Armoury (a collection of cool items unlocked by past Guild Members on previous adventures (available once you've joined the game!) Let me know if there's anything I can do to help :) During the session feel welcome to use physical or digital dice.

Preparing for the session

1. Have a D&D Beyond account (or create one for free at www.dndbeyond.com/create-account) 2. Join the Discord (https://discord.gg/ckkNkgFCEv) - and pop me a message to say hi - I'm daveyexmachina 😊 You'll find our campaign handbook and additional resources here! 3. Create your character 4. Have a working microphone (and preferably a webcam) 5. We play the game!

CHARACTER LEVELING We'll be using a variation of XP levelling for character progression. PLAYER EXPERIENCE This game is open to all levels of play. SAFETY TOOLS: Player safety is a BIG THING at my table. Gaming is about play and you can only play if you feel safe! - X, N, & O cards can be visual, messaged, or communicated in whatever way is easiest for you. - Luxon Technique is available for those who prefer it. - I am happy to make any accommodations to make the game as comfortable for you as possible. I will never ask for justifications for your preferences, and there are never any judgements from me, We've all lived different lives, and the important thing is to feel safe! - Additional safety options are available if requested. NOPE - Roleplaying sexual harassment or abuse will not be tolerated at the table. ***** ~ ~ SOME EXAMPLE SESSIONS ~ ~ In our first week of adventures the party chose to: > Rescue a family of gorilla monsters from ambushing poachers, partly by convincing the monsters to throw them as humanoid projectiles. > Investigate mysteriously vanishing ships, finding and fighting terrifying eldritch horrors, and absolutely traumatising a cowardly lighthouse keeper. He deserved it. > Solve a mercantile dispute between two rival towns by kidnapping the nobles responsible and intimidating them into getting married. This somehow worked. The ceremony was overseen by a chicken. D&D is the best.
