About the adventure
On the continent of Althas, there exists five nations who once were one. Now the five nations exist in a period of tension and mistrust. Many fear that the great war that reduced the line between the nations Jesthaen and Voldaen to a ugly necromantic scar is just a taste of what might be unleashed if war should ever rise again. For five years, this is the world that you have lived in. Life moves forward, as it did for Workcrew 17 -- one of the many hired to help construct an ambitious lighting railcar line along the ancient Thunder Valley -- who stumbled across an ancient tomb. Then one of their own tried to kill them, they were transported halfway across the world, and stole even stole an airship! Now, they're trying to find out more, and they need YOUR help! If you yearn for adventure, if you enjoy being silly and serious, then maybe you can join them AMONG THE CLOUDS. --- This campaign is based on the Five Banners Burning campaign frame, but has it's own focus around a globe-trotting pulp adventure about seeking lost relics against secret societies, political . Tonal influences include: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, The Mummy, Pirates of the Caribbean, Eberron, Our Flag Means Death, Arcane.

Hey y'all, I'm Chris. I'm a late 30-something Game Master from and currently living on the edge of Hillbilly Nation in the state of Kentucky. For a little north of the past 20 years I've usually been actively running, or thinking about running, some sort of tabletop roleplaying game. I use three tools to bring this adventure to life: - Owlbear Rodeo, for maps and reference images. - Discord, for communication, resource sharing, and ambient music. - Demiplane, for character sheets and rules references. - Includes full access to the Core Rules for DAGGERHEART. I run a player-first table where I try to incorporate as many of your ideas into the adventure as I can, while still trying to stay in-line with the mechanics as intended (but not always as-written).

There will be absolutely no depictions of sexual assault or sexual harassment at this table.
