Its power is absolute, and with such power comes an eternal boredom. To alleviate this, The Nexus seeks a new form of entertainment—and that's where you come in. You have been summoned. Declining the invitation guarantees the annihilation of you and your entire reality. Failure means the same. But for those who dare to compete and triumph, the prize is beyond measure: the permanent safety of your universe. The challenges ahead are unknown, but the stakes are the highest they’ve ever been. About me
👋 Hey there! I'm a GM who absolutely loves running games. With five years of ttrpg experience under my belt, including three years as a GM, I bring a ton of enthusiasm and know-how to every session. I'm originally from Scotland, but I've been living in Japan for over a decade, working as an English teacher (sensei). My Japanese isn't perfect, but I get by just fine. I often play online games with fellow expats and run games in Tokyo. Because of the time zone difference, I might take a bit longer to respond, but I always try to reply as quickly as possible via SP or my discord server. For me, clear communication is key. I think most issues can be sorted out by talking things through, so I always offer a short, optional review session after each game. Before we dive into a one-shot, adventure, or campaign, I make sure to explain how everything will run to keep things smooth and fun for everyone. I look forward to rolling some dice with you!

Creating your character
D&D Beyond will be used for character creation. After you sign up for the game session I will send you a link for my discord server. It will include more information and the D&D Beyond campaign link. Content: All published content is allowed. 2024 rules are in effect. (No 3rd party or homebrew content) Race/Species: Any. (2024 versions) Class: All classes allowed, including multiclassing. (2024 versions) Stats: Standard Array or Point Buy Starting Level: Level 12 Health Point Type: Fixed. (No rolling for health). Equipment and Items: You will all have the starting gear for your characters. In addition, please choose one magic item of very rare classification or lower and one magic item of uncommon or lower to add to your PC. Potions and scrolls are also considered magic items and are therefore included as a potential choice. All characters have 2000 gold pieces. Feel free to spend this on consumable spell components, mounts or other equipment your PC may have on them after adventuring for such a long time. All spell components that have a cost but are not consumed upon casting are considered to already be in your possession. (Homebrew magic items are prohibited).
