About me
Hey hey! 👋 I work full time in Higher Education, providing services and resources to students experiencing critical life circumstances. I like to run play-by-post games on the side. In my off-time my favorite hobbies consist of video games (primarily MMOs, idlers and rougelites), writing, and some sports. Primarily I run D&D 5E in the play-by-post format. But, I have many systems and accounts on various platforms that I would be willing to run. I like to find the best ways to tailor them to fit play-by-post play. Some examples include creating a Solo Leveling dedicated campaign, using 5E. Daggerheart in a custom setting, and Animon Story in a custom setting as well. I greatly value positive collaboration, and over the table talk to provide the most personalized experience for my players. My greatest ambition when starting any new campaign is building small, welcoming, and inclusive communities. Everyone deserves a space where they can feel seen and heard. I try to keep things fair without getting overly bogged down by rules. Cool moments matter just as much as mechanics. Everyone gets their spotlight, and I’ll make sure the story flows in a way that keeps the game engaging and consistent. While I can adhere to RAW to a strict degree, my favored style of play mixes and matches interpretations and RAW to make the most suitable game for my players. I love play-by-post because it fits busy lives but still lets us dive deep into immersive stories and character moments. I feel that the writing medium allows many people to come out of their comfort zone and really embody their characters. No balking at providing a silly voice for your character (although that's my favorite part IRL), or being rushed to make a decision. The game moves at a pace favorable to you, utilize that and feel emboldened to go beyond what you have done before. There will be tabs within the server that detail the character creation process, house rules, pbp standards, as well as tutorials/helpful links for utilizing the bots within the server. With this being a duet, more hands on help is available, and we can discuss every concept in great depth at your discretion.
Hi! This is a duet (You and the DM) game, I am open to duos, so please inquire and we can make the necessary adjustments. As a new player, please expect to begin actual play at the next listed session date. That will allow us ample time to discuss your expectations, and setup characters and bots. Also, please note that this is an asynchronous play by post (text) game. There is no meeting time, and play will usually revolve around your activity and ability to post. If you are interested, please join the listing, and add a note with any additional information you think I'll need. Instant booking is off, so you'll have access to the discord server link when I accept your request. I prefer for communications to be done over Startplaying rather than off-site until you are in the game and discord. Disregard the session date!
