About the adventure
Before he was portrayed by Keanu Reeves, Johnny Silverhand was icing corpos in the pages of Cyberpunk 2020, the second edition of the Cyberpunk TTRPG. This module, Never Fade Away, published in 1990, is the rockerboy's signature outing, and directly inspired the events of Cyberpunk 2077. Johnny is known for a lot of things, shredding guitar solos, gripping anti-authoritarian lyrics, never backing down from a fight. One thing he is definitely not known for is stable relationships. But he's determined to make things work with Alt, and when she's kidnapped by chromed out thugs, you better believe Silverhand is coming after her. There's a lot more to both the kidnappers and Alt than Johnny could ever expect though, and he's going to need help. Unfortunately that means hitting up his ex, but Rogue and her crew are the best in the biz, and the only people Johnny knows he can trust. Step into the shoes of Johnny Silverhand, Rogue, and their crew, in this retro-futuristic barnburner that will feel both familiar and strange to fans of Cyberpunk 2077.

About me
Hello! My name is Gwilym. I've been GMing for 18 years, and I write and design my own systems under the banner of Praxis Studios, with four full original published games to date. I love worldbuilding, and put a ton of work into my settings. I run in a variety of genres, but everything I do is inspired by my love of horror and the occult, and my experience with Goth and punk music/subculture. I love stories of outsiders, and the disenfranchised defending the disenfranchised. Expect dark themes, and human stories, but with plenty of humour.

World Builder
Creativity
Gwilym builds expansive worlds with enough details to allow for considerable player creativity, without any break in the storytelling while the logistics are considered. He is not a rules focused GM, with more interest in player engagement than strict adherence to the rule book, and if you can describe the thing you want to do in a way that sounds awesome enough he will probably let you do it!
No two Gwilym-run campaigns are the same. He has a zany disregard for conventional genres and instead mixes-and-matches source material in a myriad of surprising ways. He tells stories set in worlds that are years, sometimes decades, in the making. These worlds exist in a multiverse of his creation that spans every genre imaginable and contains people and places that are all eminently memorable for their charm, wit, depth, and occasional singular unpleasantness. You will meet allies you love and villains you love to hate. Gwilym is unapologetically himself. His passion for his games and characters is infectious. He draws players and characters into the world and finds a home for each of them. His jaunty sense of humor (and preference for flexible and narrative-heavy systems) invites players to push the boundaries and cause a bit of chaos at every turn. And then he invites the players to get themselves back out, helping them be heroes along the way without ever holding their hands. Overall, Gwilym is eclectic in his styles and tastes, flexible in his execution, and deeply passionate for his hobby.
Character creation
Creating your character
We will be using pregenerated characters of Johnny Silverhand and his crew. Prior to the session start, players should DM me ranking all four characters in order of how much they want to play them, with 1 being the one you want to play most. Not everyone can play Silverhand, but I'll assign characters so everyone gets to play someone they're interested in. The characters are... Johhny Silverhand - Ex-Central American vet, now Rockerboy, Johnny is the leader of a cult punk rock band called Samurai. He's known for his musical skill, his compelling songs, and a history of trashed relationships. Thompson - A top reporter for World News Service, Thompson has a running feud with the infamous Arasaka Corporation, whom he suspects of having murdered his wife. He will do anything to get the elusive security firm, anything. Thompson also served as a correspondent in the same war as Johnny, and followed his platoon for a while. Rogue Amendiares - This hard-bitten solo and her partner Santiago, are edgerunners. In fact, the word on the Street is that they're the best. Rogue and Johnny were an item for a few months before their clashing lifestyles, egos, and tendencies for violence erupted in a breakup that got Samurai blacklisted from a certain venue in Atlanta. Rogue sure as hell hasn't forgiven Johnny for his behavior, but she also regrets her own part in the affair, and isn't likely to turn down a chance for them both to make amends and earn some redemption. Santiago Palmer - Santiago is a Nomad who runs with the Aldecaldo Pack; displaced farmers thrown off their land by the Corporations. Santiago has a reputation as a paramour, chasing women, men, and anyone else he finds attractive. Pursuing Rogue right after her very public breakup was not the brightest idea Santiago has ever had, it nearly got him shot. On the plus side, it also got him a job as Rogues business partner, and the two have become good friends.

What Gwilym Evans brings to the table
I have custom maps and tokens of Roll20 for the one-shot. My GMing style emphasizes the rule of cool. In Cyberpunk, looking good while doing something is just as important as actually doing it. I want to encourage players to take risks and play stylishly.

Safety
How Gwilym Evans creates a safe table
I will ask all players for their lines and veils, hard and soft boundaries when it comes to topics covered in the campaign. During sessions, players will be able to inform me if we are approaching or crossing one of their boundaries with an X, M, or O in chat, or using an anonymous alternative that I will have set up. We will take a 15 minute break about 2 hours into the session, in addition, players are welcome to step away whenever they need without judgement.
