Elevation of the Lords of Runes | Lvl 1-20
Pathfinder 1e | Campaign
About the adventure
For centuries, the power of the Runelords lay buried beneath Varisia—forgotten, but not gone. Now, something stirs. In the quiet coastal town of Sandpoint, a festival meant to bring joy is shattered by blood and fire. As heroes rise to defend the innocent, they begin to uncover a vast and terrifying legacy—one that threatens not just Sandpoint, but the world itself. This is Rise of the Runelords, the legendary Pathfinder First Edition campaign that started it all. Expect a tale of ancient magics, rising darkness, and the burden of heroism in a world that desperately needs champions.
Know that while I’m deeply familiar with this legendary campaign, I also have Carrion Crown high on my list. If you and your group prefer a gothic horror twist over ancient evils and forgotten magic, I can easily swap Carrion Crown in by request. Either way, you’re in for a challenging, immersive, and unforgettable Pathfinder adventure!

Legend was a fantastic handler in a game of Delta Green with me and my wife. His understanding of the game is top notch, and he never shot down any wild ideas we had (and believe me, there were many of those). Our characters couldn't succeed on a roll to save their lives, but the session was still a blast, which in my mind is the mark of a truly fantastic game master!
The session with Legend was absolutely amazing. He is very welcoming and helpful to new players. Together, you will make wonderful and gripping stories. Due to his excellent improvisation skills, it's a pleasure even to fail a check. :-) He incorporates interesting real places in his games - with a great and immersive description. It was a great game and a superb experience.
Legend offered a wonderful introduction to the Delta Green system! He doesn't just tell you what you see but encourages the players to build the scenes with him, describing to him and the table what we see, hear, and smell in the environments. You're offered plenty of room to breathe and develop camaraderie with the other PCs, with pressure wonderfully applied in moments of tension. Consequences are real and reasonable at this table, but at no point is creativity stifled. Failing rolls has never felt this good!

How to prepare
This game is built on immersion and intensity, and that starts with how you show up. ✅ Discord & VTT – All sessions run through Discord (voice) and Foundry. Get familiar with both. ✅ A Solid Mic – Clear audio is non-negotiable. If your mic is bad or you’re in a noisy environment, it breaks immersion for everyone. ✅ Quiet Space – Background noise kills the mood. Find a distraction-free zone where you can focus. If you’re set up properly, we hit the ground running—no wasted time, no distractions, just great storytelling and hard-hitting gameplay.
What I provide
I run tactical, immersive games with an emphasis on strategy, resource management, and psychological horror. My military background shapes the way I present challenges—you’ll need more than just a sword to survive. Expect intelligent enemies, dynamic battlefields, and moments of genuine tension where careful planning is just as important as a well-placed fireball. The world of Golarion is alive, and I know Sandpoint and Magnimar like the back of my hand. NPCs remember your choices, alliances shift, and the shadows hide threats beyond steel and spell. Are you ready to carve your legend into history, or will you become another footnote in the Runelords’ return?
