About the adventure
Hello fellow RPGers ! Through this epic collection of space-faring, action-packed adventures set in the Star Wars universe we'll be using the Genesys dice pool system as described in Fantasy Flight Games 'Star Wars / Age of Rebellion' book. You will be playing as part of a team of recently recruited Rebel Alliance operatives, in the era surrounding the destruction of the first Death Star and the Battles of Scarif, Yavin and/or Hoth (between 0 BBY and 3 ABY). What made you want to join this budding resistance against the crushing might of the Galactic Empire ? Are you an idealist trying to make a difference ? A survivor from horror seeking vengeance ? A desperate refugee hoping to find a new home among like-minded outsiders ? A professional gun-for-hire hunted by the Empire ? Be it through sheer force of will, superior tactical skills or an uncanny way with words and a natural ability as a peerless infiltrator, your only goal is to help win the galactic civil war, or die trying. After all, you know only too well how the ISB handles its prisoners... Only you can forge your rebellious destiny and together we'll discover how this game system can generate an original and uniquely story-driven experience.

About me
I'm an old-school, french-born GM who specializes in LIVE TEXT GAMES (these days Audio is of course a normal go-to for a lot of my games, but I started as a pro-GM with Live Text and still have a thing for it). After a long hiatus doing other Life Things, I got back into TTRPGs online a few years ago and have been running professionally mostly homebrewed 5e campaigns since 2020, with a good few forays into other systems. I'm very much into immersive and epic stories, involving a lot of larger-than-life (or at least amusing and/or interesting) encounters with the denizens of the world your characters live in. I add a good mixture of action, exploring, problem-solving and interactions with intriguing situations and colorful characters to spice it all up. Creating your character
- Characters don't have 'levels' in this system, although they do learn better skills and improve as they resolve new tasks and challenges. - We will all proceed with character creation together during Session Zero, and look over a couple of different examples of character builds for this series of adventures. - If you prefer to pick from pre-generated characters that can be an option as well. - You can always discuss things with me between sessions (or previous to Session Zero) through my Discord server or by sending me a Friend Request / PM me directly at AshDrunbar#3628.
With this campaign set in a Galaxy Far, Far Away we will delve into the Star Wars FFG / Genesys dice system together. This is mostly focused on 💢Age of Rebellion💢 as you will be playing a group of budding rebels to imperial rule getting involved with the Alliance, with increasingly more crucial stakes as the story progresses. 📆 The timeline is set around the time of the destruction of the first Death Star, i.e. between 0 and 3 BBY (basically between 'A New Hope' and 'The Empire Strikes Back'). 🌐 🆗 STATUS: This is a small group of regular players 👨👨👧👦 who already have run a full 🪐Edge of the Empire / 🌌Force and Destiny campaign with Yours Truly over the last year and felt like trying out the life of rebel operatives for a spell. What to expect
Preparing for the session
For this game series you will need: - a working microphone and earphones - a decent connection to the internet - a Discord account - a free Forge account to access the Foundry VTT. - deep knowledge of the Star Wars universe or its general lore is not required, but an appreciation for and passing familiarity with the storyline created by Georges Lucas is a definite plus.

This GM tries to stick to RAW but has been known to make rulings on the fly when needed... Expect changes in starship combat especially.
