About the adventure
In the south of Creation a great desert covers most of the land. In the blistering heat and sandy expanse, nomads cross the desert and fight to survive. As if these threats were not enough, the fae add a strange and horrific and supernatural danger. Unique to the freeholds of the southern rakshasa are myriad beasts which are perfectly adapted to the vast desert they reside in. There is also wonder, at the edge of reality and in the sand. Flows of liquid glass create strange landscapes or rivers of fire, small villages have unique cultures born from the wyld and what they gain and sacrifice to it. The joy of sand sailors pulling into port with goods, news, and celebrations of returns. As Lunars, you are masters of the Wyld, made to strike the fae in their places of power and seize control of them. While many Lunars now spend their time waging a guerilla war against the Realm, you and yours sit at the edge of creation and push back the fae. You are Lunars of Sand and Fire and your purpose is to hold back the chaos that want to eat your home. Wyld Sands is a Lunar Exatled game about living on the edges of Creation and solving the unique and supernatural problem of the people there. Away from the squabbling of your fellow exalted you will face down a true threat to Creation!

Meet the Game Master
About me
Hello, my name is Oscar and I am a game designer and active GM! I hope to GM a wide variety of games for an equally wide variety of people so that I can experience more perspectives on TTRPG's. I like the strange and the niche and want to bring unique TTRPG experiences to life! I've been a GM since 2017 and in that time I have run a number of different types of game. From galaxy spanning space adventures to gritty and cruel low fantasy I can run a variety of different tones and settings. I tend towards more combat but I am just as happy to run more story and role-play focused games. I'm not overly attached to any one system, and if I don't already know it I'm happy to learn it. I've actively run 5e, Lancer, Crowns, Five Torches Deep, and Shadow of the Demon Lord as well as familiarized myself with Eclipse Phase, Wrath and Glory, Starfinder, Pathfinder 2e, and the Lumen Engine.

Proficiencies
Players say this GM is great at:
Creativity
Teacher
Storytelling
Our party ranges in experience and Oscar has done a fantastic job of answering questions that arise while not getting bogged down in explanation. His campaign ideas are fun but have potential to get gritty as well. Friendly, safe, just played last night and already looking forward to next week.
