About the adventure
You lucked out and found the rare decent place to call home that is just barely affordable; a five story apartment complex nestled deep in a warzone just on the outskirts of where a nuke was set off over twenty years ago. Sure, it's still being remodeled, one of the elevators likes to give you a lurching jump-scare every time you use it, and all of your neighbors don't like to talk much about their past, but it beats sleeping in a car while you hope against hope that a stray bullet won't find you. Thankfully, you managed to pull off a few successful jobs with some of your neighbors, and the veteran who stands in as security for the place is putting together another weekly community poker game. Obviously it'll be just another quiet night in the neighborhood. Right? Yeah, that never happens.

About me
My name is Eric (he/him), yet another forever Storyteller who had their first roleplay experience with Vampire: The Masquerade and D&D 3.5 back in the early 2000's. Not long after, I ran my first of many games ever; Star Wars D20. Years later, I gained the reputation as the friend who could whip up a game session from nothing in 15 minutes. This led to some long-running campaigns of my Legend of Zelda (technically still going 19 years later) and my custom-made multiverse game Zoridock (of which I have a campaign which has concluded). I tend to run character driven campaigns that focus on heavy roleplay and narrative threads rather than combat, though I don't shy away from anyone deciding to take the heavy-handed approach. Come help create a collaborative story, one that we'll all look back on with fond memories, and more than a few epic tales to regale other players of. Who's ready for an adventure?

Creating your character
In lieu of character creation, Session 0 will cover the 10 available pre-generated character sheets, and core mechanics. A basic overview of the setting and the immediate locale where the game will take place will be covered, as well as the roster of npcs that your chosen character often encounters will likewise be gone over for a better sense of history before the first session begins.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
The game will be run on both Role [for all play materials] and Discord [for audio/video], so a free account will be necessary. Also a decent mic will be a must, with a video camera being optional. I understand that not everyone is comfortable being seen on camera, and I will leave it up to you if you choose to use video. All dice rolls will be handled with Role's built-in dice roller.
What The Revelling Bard brings to the table
I will provide character driven story, maps, tokens, pre-generated character sheets, a built-in dice-roller, and some voices. The Core Rulebook and sheets will be provided.

How The Revelling Bard creates a safe table
Session 0 will be used to go over all safety tools, pre-generated character sheets, basic mechanics, campaign specifics, and professional policies. Breaks will be set two hours into each session, or as needed. The Lines and Veils may be anonymously updated in the Role room documents after each session to reflect what is needed and necessary for everyone at the table.
